not worth it / dirty sheets / no lockers
even when you come with a friendly vibe the staff is passive aggressive. every time you talk to the manager it sounded like he wants to instigate a fight. for some reason he kept on reminding me that his bed is right next to mine. first he cant find my booking, when i come back to the hostel at night he asks if i have a booking and later messages me on agoda as if i havent checked in.
they try to enforce stupid rules like no food/drinks in the dorm room so you spend money in their restaurant. they dont clean but charge 50thb for a towel per day. there is no lockers, had to carry my laptop everywhere. the wifi constantly disconnects or doesnt work at all. showers only have cold water and one of the toilets doesnt flush. the whole bathroom smelled like piss.
when the manager slept in the dorm room the ac was running all day. when he moved he took the remote and turned off the ac during the day. beds dont have a light and they dont change the sheets, not even after guests stayed several days. they had several groups of guests that bust into the room in the morning, had loud convos while other guests were still sleeping and...

I'll start with the few pros: it's cheap and in a good location, that's it.
You are sacrificing everything else for this price point. The rooms are 10 beds with no space, and they turn off the AC through the day so it's unbearable in there. There is an area to place your bags outside the room, but it is constantly soaked on the floor from the shower, which is absolutely disgusting and there is definitely poo in said water. Look at the video I uploaded with this, the toilets are DISGUSTING, the shower is in with the toilet which results in the bin (that has used toilet paper) being filled with water and spilling out. Room smells really strongly of chemicals which gave me a headache and made me dizzy, still has cockroaches tho! Also says bags are not their responsibility even though they provide no secure storage and people were getting their stuff stolen. WiFi didn't work, no toilet paper, no soap, no nothing. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra few quid and stay...
Read moreThe staff here are excellent, attentive, kind, welcoming and very friendly [Luckily I can speak a little English]. The bed is new, the room is clean, the zone for women is well arranged, the air conditioner is very cold. I might make noise in the morning because I have to wake up to get ready for work [Sorry to my roommates for those 3 nights, I didn't mean to]. The bathroom might not be enough. The shower might be too close to the toilet bowl. The bathroom fixtures might be broken [Please check and repair it. I will be more comfortable next time I go, thank you in advance]. Overall, for me, the location is near the pier, Phra Athit Pier and Phra Chan Pier, Thewet Pier, and near my office on the Siriraj Hospital side. There are many food options. There is a 711 nearby. The journey from the alley to the bus stop is not far. It is really convenient. It is worth the money. I...
