Trang Hotel Bangkok — Hotel in Bang Khun Phrom Subdistrict

Pls be warned not to stay at this hotel

Don’t be fool staying at this hotel as the photos and real life is very different. You pay for the cheapest room is like staying in a haunted hotel then the hotel manager upgrades up to another building which is newer and cleaner but warm water to shower isn’t existence and still got black molds that will harm your health. The hotel manager said for this time will be free upgrade since you have escalated this to trip.com!!

Please lock your valuables in your suitcase as the cleaning staff will try their best to steal whatever you have that thinks is worth the money.

They literally even have the cheek to take my foodcourt card that isn’t worth any value in it. I put into the keycard slot for electricity as I was charging my electronics equipment this happened after I came back and found my room doesn’t have electricity as told them to fixed the air conditioner has a lot of dust and water heater wasn’t even working properly!! By right they should leave the card on the table.

I confronted the hotel manager and she has the cheek to say go check your valuables after told her ‘her staff stole my things’. Before I checked out one of the housekeeping staff came and return my card.

This is the second time I've been to Bangkok and this hotel was nearer the central area than the first one I stayed in. The hotel was huge and very spacious. The room however is just enough to fit two people. I loved the pillows. The mini ref works so well as well as the AC. 7-11 is just a 3 minute walk away. The pool was massive for a budget hotel. ||||||The CONS:||1. The buffet breakfast was good but it can be great if there are more variety. For three mornings, we always had chicken and pork sausage, pork & veggies and some sort of chicken dish. ||2. The amenity kit only has a shower cap and two small bottles of shampoo & shower gel. There was no dental kit nor a small soap for hand washing. ||3. They only provide 1 big towel per person, it would have been better if they provide a smaller towel too for the face. ||4. The staff especially in the dining area were not friendly. They barely smile at all. ||5. Furniture in the dining area are quite outdated||6. There was no complimentary coffee/tea nor a water kettle for us to heat water...
