First day, when I went to sleep, I found almonds in my bed. It was late, so I had to just sleep knowing sheets are not been changed. But reception lady was kind enough to change it next day on my request. But cleaning staff would not clean it below bed. While removing my bag, i saw how dirty/muddy it was, hair all over and someone’s sox below bed. But, I was still okay because receptionist was polite. Next day, I went to extend my stay, there was another lady now, I asked her if I can pay online as I have limited cash and I’m leaving the country in 4 days. Cash withdrawal is a little hassle for me. And she literally shouted, it’s just little cash, just pay, we have to pay online commission. I couldn’t think anything and quickly paid. Latter, she smiled at me and said people from your country. I thought I misunderstood, maybe it was just her tone like that. While going out I asked her — I didn’t catch your name and she’s like I’m the owner of this hostel, I said lovely, by any chance you have Type C charger, I forgot in my parents bag. And Kik, charger is a private thing, I don’t share my charges, just go down and buy from 7/11 it’s just 200 baht. I was like okay.
Evening for dinner I thought let me try to order food online on grab as I was saving last 5k for emergency scenarios. I even added my card, confirmed with delivery guy if it’s online payment, he said okay. But once food reached, he asked cash!! Maybe I did some mistake while ordering. Right outside reception, I was trying to ask him, if it can be charged online. This lady came shouting and asked me if I have cash, I said I do, but I …. She shouted again, then just pay, he has to go and started saying something in Thai.. I just paid, I didn’t even took a minute of him. And I booked another place for rest of 2 days in Bangkok. In the morning, i packed my bag and went to take shower at 11 as 12 was check out time. I was drying my hair, she came shouting again you have to leave, it’s almost 12. Oh okay I went to room and took my things and left :( Horrible experience!!! I met so many nice people on my one month Thailand trip, but this...
