Marni BKK Hostel — Hotel in Ban Phan Thom Subdistrict

The noise level is very loud in the common area. There are 2 people who watch the TV very loudly all day and all night long. They are long-term guests. They use the entire common area with the couches and TV as their own personal bedroom. They have pillows, blankets and lay in their bed clothes (see attached photos) This happens day and night. The area is completely used by them. They are very disrespectful to the other guests and don't care how loud they are. The night receptionist lowers the volume and tells them to be more quiet but they ignore her and turn up the TV louder. When they drink at night and have their friends over who are not guests they are even louder than usual. I tried to use a small table on the other side of the room to work on my laptop. Even with my earbuds, it was just too loud from them. I asked them several times to please lower the volume but nothing really changes. The difference between 36 and 37 on the tv volume is not noticeable. It's just rude to all of the other guests, and the employee whom they just ignore. The owner knows about it but doesn't care because it just keeps happening. I can't recommend a place that you can't enjoy the common area and some guests are treated better than other guests. I recently stayed at this hostel and had a fantastic experience. The place is exceptionally clean and very cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. The beds are big and incredibly comfortable, and the huge curtains provide a lot of privacy, which is a great touch.

Each bed comes with a shelf with a lock for your backpack and belongings, plus an open shelf next to it for toiletries or a book, so you don’t have to keep everything on your bed. This small detail made my stay even more convenient and comfortable.
