At Thaphae Hostel — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

My first impression wasn’t great — the room is much smaller than what the promo pictures on the website and Google Maps show, so I was a bit disappointed. However, considering the price and location, I still think it offers reasonable value. One confusing thing is that the hotel’s name is very similar to another one nearby, so people might mix them up easily.

It’s worth noting that the whole building has been renovated — it seems like it used to be an office building, so the floor plan feels a bit unusual. One downside is that it can get quite noisy in the morning when people walk along the hallway, but it’s not unbearable.

Ho soggiornato in una camera privata all’AT Thaphae Hostel e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! La stanza era pulita, confortevole e ben organizzata, con un letto comodo, aria condizionata e tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Anche il bagno era in ottime condizioni, con acqua calda e una buona pressione della doccia.

La posizione dell’ostello è perfetta, a pochi passi dalla Thaphae Gate e vicino ai mercati notturni, templi e ristoranti. Il personale è estremamente gentile e sempre disponibile a fornire consigli su cosa fare a Chiang Mai.
