THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE HOTEL. There is a clothing shop underneath that goes by the same name. It's an Indian run establishment, so all of the clothes are actually made a bit bigger. Which I find is a good thing. They sell a huge variety of T-shirts, Singlets, Shorts, Long Pants all for the one price of 100 baht ($4). I've purchased myself several pairs of the long pants. Comfortable, elastic waisted, cotton. With one large pocket. There's elastic around the ankles, but I find this really annoying and just remove it. They also have Cool Weather Jackets. Ranging in price from 200 to 350 baht. I'd never thought I'd actually ever buy a Jacket in Thailand, but it's been so Cool the past few Mornings. They're keen to get your money, but they're also willing to help you find the right garment. I won't hesitate to go back here when I need more Clothing.

Normally I would say that you shouldn’t expect much from such a cheap hotel, but the standards of the place were practically insulting. It was ironic for them to be in the hospitality sector. The woman at the front desk (who works during the night) did not seem to speak much English beyond her request that we pay for the hotel immediately (it had to be repeated three times that we would pay during check out). ||After the hassle at the desk, we headed to our room which reeked of cigarettes. As a smoker, you’d expect this not to bother me, but it did. Notably, we requested a non smoking room. Of course, this is not the fault of the hotel itself, but some attention to detail would have been appreciated. Furthermore, the floor was sticky and had noticeable stains. These were also found on the walls. The shower pressure was amazing (big plus point), but the drains (there are two) did not function properly. Even during shorter showers, a pause was needed to allow the flooding to subside and for the soap to be washed away. ||The next morning, we commented on these faults and we were moved to the room next door. The room did not stink like cigarettes, the floor was a bit cleaner, but not clean, and the drainage issue persisted. I tried opening the wardrobe and the door fell on me. At this point, I did little else but laugh. ||The location of the hotel was very good, the AC worked fine and the man at the reception desk (worked during the day) was incredibly kind and did his best to accommodate us. I do hope that these comments take effect, because this place does have the potential to be very...

We booked this "hotel" for our stay in Chiang Mai for three nights. They are definitely in the business of misguiding foreigners with good pictures that do not show the reality at all. The rooms are really really bad, simply and plain. The are terribly hot, with a poor AC that makes an annoying noise over night. But this is just a technicality compared to the real issue. The place is very dirty and noisy, and the receptionist doesn't seem to understand your problems, mainly because they don't understand english. There is free coffee that you should be very very careful to have if you don't want to end your holiday in bad shape. It's simply 3rd world conditions and the price is the same as very nice hotels nearby. Don't let these people ruin your holidays as they did with mine. I'm sorry for being so hard with this, but it's simply the truth, it's not a place for anyone expecting a minimum standard of health and safety. The four floor where our rooms where located at was at nearly 45°C and dark at night with not a single light. It's really scary. Also, the members of staff shout over night, which besides being really annoying was worrying and terrifying at times. Go to the review of nonlocal people and you'll see what I'm saying is the truth. What was more surprising is the fact that they claim to be a 3-star hotel...Dirty floor, dirty bathroom, no security at all, no lights on the corridor, no help from reception, no lobby, who gave...

I have just spent 5 nights here in Lanna House. When I arrived reception asked if I wanted a room on lower floor or high floor, I didn’t mind if quiet at night. My room #017 is on the third level. There is no lift so if you have luggage or are disabled choose a lower floor.||Room was spacious and clean, there is a noisy AC but it is very powerful. Old style tv which I never actually watched so have no idea what channels were available.||Free coffee and tea is available not in the room but on the ground floor next to reception desk. ||The only annoying things are the power is operated by the key fob, so if you go out even to grab a coffee, or snack from 7/11 or nearby McDonalds the power goes off, so no good if you are trying to charge a device. And to use the WiFi you have to enter a code which is meant to last a week, but seems to reset regularly so you keep having to re-enter it. Once connected it is fast.||Bed was hard but comfortable, housekeeping good cleaning room everyday.||Overall for a budget price hotel I was...
