Puak​ Taem​ Boutique​ Hotel​ — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

Extremely quiet. Located in a side street 5 minutes from Nong Buak Haad Public Park and centre of the old city. Rooms have a separate shower and toilet and are air conditioned. Beds are comfy and large for a couple. There is also a small front garden where you can sit to await your taxi ride or if your partner has your room key and gone shopping. We paid 850 bhat per night.

I’d recommended freedom yoga which is also next to the park and does drop in sessions for 350 bhat. Prim’s kitchen is also just opposite. They do great Thai food, falafel and salad tapas bowls plus fresh juices. Main courses from 40 bhat. Plus coco mango for their vegan coconut ice cream, sticky rice, and mango cups...

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The room was modern, clean and had air conditioning and a fridge. The bed was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well in the room and the shower had warm water. The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly.

The only minus was that the walls of the room were really thin and all the sounds from outside could be heard in the room. However, I was able to sleep well...

I was alone in the room, that was fine and everything, but there was a dude in the hostel, probably a workers or even family member of the owner, that was making a lot of noise. Coming back at 5:00 am, drunk or what not, turning his phone extremely loud and Playing games. I stayed there two days in a raw and it happens twice, luckily on the second day it was 07:00am...
