location and rooms is fine. Be careful when you check in they Will ask you 500baht or passport for deposit. But when you checking out they will have some redicullus reasons as like your cooking on the top floor attract lots of ants. But in fact. There are ants in the kitchen always. Or you didn’t clean your wastes when you cooking. And so on. If you really need stay in this hostel. Deposit your passport. When they give you some rediculous reasons. Call the police. It works. As it’s not allowed to take any personal passport. Reply the boss: This is the weird and poorly managed part of this hostel. There is no proper communication between the staff and their boss. It may be because it is a new hostel. The boss has little experience. The information I got was that the staff allowed me to use their kitchen refrigerator. I didn't get a verbal warning until I went to the front desk to renew my room on the last day. But their boss argued with me on Airbnb and said that it had been given many times. Who lied? I was late for check-out because the problem was not solved and I couldn't get my passport. The boss said that he gave me my passport without making things difficult for me. But the fact is that after I called the police, the boss felt guilty and offered to give me my passport. The boss claimed that he was Swiss, but his words and actions did not seem like it. I live in Dubai and go hiking in Switzerland every summer. His behavior was arrogant and unreasonable, more like a Middle Eastern person in Switzerland. I guessed it right. In short, try not to come to this hostel because they will have various reasons to deduct your deposit. If you must stay. Give your passport. In case they have strange reasons, remember to call the police at 191 if I...
Read moreI stayed here for 5 nights in May of 2025. Overall this was a decent stay but I think there are a few areas that could be improved.
Some things I appreciated were the daily housekeeping and getting a fresh towel every day. Not a lot of hostels offer this. The lockers in each room were massive, offering plenty of space to store belongings. This hostel is also in a great location and offered a great nightly rate. Staff is very kind too and I felt safe.
Now for areas needing improvement. First and foremost, the beds are incredibly hard. It seems there is a top layer to help soften the bed but the mattress feels like you’re sleeping on concrete. There was also no curtain covering the glass door in my room leading to the balcony. I felt pretty exposed while changing as people from the street could see in the room. Also in order to adjust the temperature in the room, I had to go to the front desk. There is no control in the room. I also wish there were some sort of night light in the room. All the lights in the room go off when the keycard is removed from the wall and this makes it very challenging to navigate the room when coming back at night or going out in the evening.
This hostel definitely has potential and I would be curious to see how it changes...
Read moreA gem of a place hidden away just a few minutes away from Kata Beach! I got the calm and quiet I was looking for, but still easy access to all the cafes and restaurants around. The staff are real friendly too! The receptionist always greeted me with a smile, while the housekeeping team kept the room absolutely tidy! Highly recommended for anyone looking for the perfect hostel in Kata. Also dont forget to check out their rooftop space! The breeze and the view...
