Karma Deli — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I wish I could give 10 stars!

This place nails it every time. It’s become our favorite place on Samui. I’m not someone to usually order a salad at a restaurant, but I’ve now ordered the Deli and whatever the other one is with the goat cheese toast and wow I’m obsessed. Incredible value! The biggest portion of greens I’ve ever seen with a hearty portion of tuna. It’s a full meal that will leave you fully satisfied and not hungry anymore.

We also love the tuna tartare. We’ve now seen other items on the menu and can’t wait to try the mussels and the burger, and anything else on the menu.

Every time we eat at fisherman’s village besides this place we are really disappointed with the cost/quality ratio where at Karma Deli they over deliver on both quality and price.

If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience, don’t bother going anywhere else in the village, come to Karma and you won’t be disappointed!

This place is new, but honestly they should have taken more time to evaluate their food quality and operations. Since it's a new place, I do implore people to try it as they may improve in the future. Everyone deserves a second chance especially if they are a new establishment. Hopefully they see this as an opportunity to become a better business.

I'll write down the feedback in point form:

Vegan pizza has cheese? Vegan lasagna has cream? This is vegetarian, NOT vegan. (Vegan is absolutely no animal products) Screwed up the orders a lot, the staff need more training for this. Pizza order was messed up, and instead of a new pizza, they took out the old toppings, added new toppings and put it back in the oven; unacceptable. The Bolognese was way too salty. Among the best places on the island to eat and people watch. Great variety of unique food, perfectly prepared. I literally eat here once every 1 to 2 weeks. I've had a lot of different dishes and each one has exceeded my expectations.

The staff's happiness is infectious—I'm happy just being here. And they go out of their way to make sure you're happy. In fact, I went in one evening looking for a grasshopper cocktail. They had never made one before but they went above and beyond and made the best grasshopper I have ever had.

There are so many dishes I would recommend, but if I had to pick one, it's the Brioche Perdue. This is among the best deserts I have ever had in my life!
