Baramee Resortel — Hotel in Patong

Our stay at Baramee Resortel in Phuket was a pleasant and convenient experience. It’s a cozy resort that offers comfort, value for money, and a great location. Here's a detailed review:

Pros:

● Property: The property is well-maintained and has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s not overly crowded and offers a peaceful atmosphere despite being close to the busy Patong area.

● Kid’s & Adult Swimming Pool: The resort features separate swimming pools for kids and adults, which is a great plus for families. Clean and well-kept, the pools were a highlight of our stay.

● Rooms: The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Comfortable bedding and cozy interiors ensured a good night’s sleep.

● BBQ Sunday: The Sunday BBQ event was a delightful surprise! Fresh and tasty food with a good variety definitely something to look forward to during the stay.

● Staff: The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. Their friendly nature and helpful attitude made us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

● Walking Distance to Patong Beach: A major advantage of this resort is its prime location just a 2-5 minute walk to Patong Beach, making it perfect for beach lovers.

● Food (Breakfast Buffet): The breakfast buffet was good overall with decent options. The food was fresh and tasty.

Cons:

● Food (Breakfast): The breakfast menu remained the same almost every day. A little variation or rotation in the menu would make the dining experience more enjoyable.

● No Bellboy: The resort does not have a bellboy service, so guests have to manage their luggage themselves. While not a major issue, it’s something to note especially for families or elderly guests.

Overall Verdict:

A great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly resort close to Patong Beach. The property, staff, and location are definite highlights. A bit more variety in breakfast and luggage assistance would make it even better.

I've got so many good things to say about Baramee that I'll have to do it in sections.

Headlines : 100% recommended

Star rating : Baffling why this is 3 a star, believe me when I tell you it's much closer to 4 star.

Rooms : The rooms are excellent, bright light and airy. Very comfortable beds and quality linen. I got a suite which had a small sofa and coffee table. More comfortable than some 4 star accommodation I've been in previously. I like an easy access spacious shower and this room did not disappoint. All you'll need to bring with you is a toothbrush and toothpaste as everything else is provided.

Facilities : Hotel has two bars, one at the front for people watching and one towards the rear of the hotel next to the immaculately clean pool the water is cool and inviting. The pool is split into two sections a swimming area with constant depth, and the jacuzzi area where you can sit and drink the beverage of your choice. You can even sit in the pool and order drinks. The toilet is very close by to the pool and bar for super easy access. There's a lovely grilling and dining area near the pool, which gets a natural breeze and is out of the sun.

Staff : The staff are great warm and friendly. Well trained staff is the heart of a good hotel in my mind, this is probably what contributed to the 4 star feeling.

Food : I ate probably the best steak of my life here. Grilled on a BBQ by the pool. With some very nice side dishes to choose from. I also ate a bacon cheeseburger here which rivals any on the island. I understand that this could come across as hyperbole is amongst the best I've ever eaten. Again this probably contributes to the 4 star feeling.

Accessibility : Wheelchair friendly throughout. The ramp up from the street is quite steep, but there are always staff around to assist you.

Highly recommend this place. The service is top notch, the pool and water feature was fantastic, the food is amongst the best I've had in Thailand, and for the price , you simply can't beat it. You can tell that the atmosphere is important to the owners as the music was yacht rock, the pool was clean and very well maintained, the , water feature was beautiful, and palm trees along with the BBQ food, and seating area covered by really comfortable Astro turf or sponge flooring made the common area a highlight as everyone from the hotel, and guests were having abundant conversation, and was exactly what I look for when I travel..the gym is clean and welcoming, the hotel could easily be a 4 plus star. , the cocktails quality is unmatched (only quality liquor and for only 100 baht). The beds are fantastic, the villa style rooms are spacious and inviting all while and quiet nights rest was always a priority (if you know Thailand, it's not always the case) only steps away from the beach with 711, pharmacy and massage and food shops only steps outside the hotel entrance. This place has everything you could want. I worry that if I say too many good of things, that I won't be able to afford it next time 🤣 but I must give credit where it is due! This place is...
