Big Boys Bed & Burger Hotel and Restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Patong! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and the lively Bangla Road, yet tucked away enough to give you a peaceful rest when you need it.

The room design is spot-on, perfect for couples or families. We loved how cozy and stylish everything felt. The bed was super comfortable, and waking up to a gorgeous beach view was something we’ll never forget.

Although the hotel doesn’t have a lift, the friendly staff were quick to help with our luggage—and since the hotel is only a few floors up, it wasn’t an issue at all.

A massive shoutout to Scott, who truly made our stay special. Not only was he incredibly warm and accommodating, but he also helped us plan our days by recommending awesome local tour packages and great restaurants we might have missed otherwise. Every tip he gave us turned out to be a gem!

And let’s talk about the burger—wow. It’s not just a hotel perk, it’s a destination in itself. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We seriously considered coming back for one last bite before heading to the airport!

When I booked this hostel, I had many questions, and they were all answered promptly. Before my stay, they introduced me to a wonderful cooking class. They even arranged for a car to take me from the airport to the hostel, and sent me a personalized photo message saying they would be waiting for me at the airport before I arrived. They were incredibly kind even before my stay. Not only did he offer me a welcome drink upon arrival, but he also provided me with his WhatsApp account and was always available to answer any questions I might have. As a solo female traveler, he was truly reassuring. On my last day, he allowed me to check out at 1:00 PM, instead of the usual 11:00 AM, free of charge. I was extremely tired, so I really appreciated the late check-out. He even arranged for a taxi to the airport. An impeccable establishment – we stayed 3 times during one holiday!

Having been fortunate to do a lot of travel previously, I cannot think of a hotel where I have been so warmly welcomed and ably assisted as we were at Big Boy’s Bed & Burger. Staff are wonderful. Lay gave us his Whatsapp details and was always available to assist. The first visit felt homely, by the second and third arrival it really felt like being welcomed home.

Across 3 visits we stayed in a multitude of rooms. All were very well equipped and comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent.

The restaurant below serves fantastic burgers with matching service. The YOLO burger is hearty and satisfying.

This is very well located accommodation. Right by the beach, and just a few minutes’ walk to the centre.

The price was a bargain.
