Internet is very slow! If you want to check your email, it's ok but that's about it. Don't expect to stream any movies or even play games on your phone. I talked to the owner but she wasn't interested in updating there internet services. TVs are also out dated! They are old flat screens with No HDMI outputs!
Room is tiled, nice and big with queen size bed if you book the Delux room! There's no smoking in rooms, so your going to have to use the small balcony to light up. Air condition works perfectly! Shower has hot running water.Toilet/sink is all good! Room comes with safe, small refrigerator and a hot water pot. 2 bottles of drinking water is free daily.
Staff is very nice and helpful and speak English. Rooms get cleaned daily and they even clean up your room if you're one that leaves things messy. Don't forget to leave a tip for the cleaning ladys they work hard!
Security at night does not exists. So any white person could grab your keys and go in your room and steal your things. So take your key with you! I spoke to the owner about this, she said they are working on it. But I think they are cutting corners in all the wrong places.
Location is good because their are no noisy bars around. So you will get some good rest. This hotel does not come with a restaurant or a pool.
Orange restaurant near by is very good! Breakfast for just $3 comes with coffee,2 toasts, choice of bacon or ham. And some...
Read moreUpon arrival, we did not feel very welcomed. We were rushed to pay and complete the paperwork before we had to take our own bags up and find our own rooms.
After the first night we woke up to a rather large cockroach sitting on the bathroom wall. We called reception and they took care of it and just kept saying "no problem".
About 30 minutes ago, now our second night, when we are getting ready for bed, we lifted the blanket to find blood on the inside of the blanket, it was very easy to see because of the white sheets. We called reception and she said that they will only change the sheets in the morning. We refused that then she said she will come up to the room to check. Once again she kept saying it's no problem and we should just sleep in it. We asked if we could change rooms and she said all rooms were taken. We asked to speak to the manager and she said that she doesn't have the contact details and we should get it on our own. When she saw that we were looking for it then she said ok, she will check for a room. She went out and came back with new sheets, and she made it very clear that we were being quite an inconvenience for her.
We will NEVER return to this hotel and we will also be hoping that no one else visits here. I will make sure to be posting this review in as many websites as I can.
Also, there really isn't any usable wifi and there is always an excuse as to why it...
Read moreWe stayed in 2 different rooms in this hotel. I think the second room may have been considered "My Hotel Too." I'm not sure how that all works. Room #1 was very warm. The A/C sucked even after leaving our key in the "power the room" slot all day. Protip: they try and prevent you from leaving the power on in the room to conserve energy, but this turns off the A/C. Sorry. I'm American. I need a cold room upon entering on a hot day. I don't want to sweat in bed till it gets better. Especially when it never got better. The hotel staff provided an oscillating fan, which helped. ||||This was truly a basic hotel. No amenities at all. The location was very convenient to nightlife and a short walk to the beach.||||Our second room in "My Hotel too" there was a lot nicer. The A/C worked. But it was on the 4th floor with no elevator. Long way for luggage! The one absolute crappy thing (pun intended) about this room was the bathroom. This was our introduction to Southeast Asia's preference for zero privacy bathrooms. The bathroom did have a curtain over the glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. No door though. So all your toilet noises are basically 2 feet from your sleeping roommate with no buffer. Disgusting. On the positive, at least there was the curtain. Some of our rooms in other hotels didn't...
