I booked a private family room at Puck Hostel for 3 nights and our stay was great! Upon arrival, we could check in immediately as the room was already prepared for us even though we were there before the official check in time (2pm). The staffs were friendly and helpful when we asked for directions. Best part, it is very cheap!! However, be prepared to climb stairs and carry your heavy luggage. Be careful as some of the stairs are quite steep. At level 1 and 2, there are common area for you to chill if you do not want to chill in your room.||The private family room has 2 bunk beds and 1 queen size bed, but it does not come with a private toilet. As we stayed at level 4 room 402, the toilet at level 4 is shared with room 401-404 (I guess all are private family room). The toilet has a hot shower, toilet bowl and a basin. One downside is that there isn't much space to hang our clothes in the toilet. Our room is also air conditioned.||I would recommend this hostel to all backpackers as firstly it is really cheap (do book on their website instead), secondly the hostel is located strategically near a BTS and walkable distance to Oriental Pier, lastly the staffs are really friendly and helpful! ||How to get there:|It is just 10 minutes walk from Surasak BTS Station (Exit 3), take the stairs down and Turn Right where you will see Mode Sathorn Hotel. Walk straight until you see a small road on the left, turn into the small road and continue to walk straight until you reach the main road (you will see two 7-11 stores opposite each other). Cross the road towards the 7-11 on the other side of the main road and walk into the small road beside it. You will see Puck Hostel...

Read moreAmazing stay for our first stop. The hostel was very clean and supplied bedding. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map with all the best location to visit. Breakfast was provided but only fruit and toast. Security is really great, you have key card entry for the rooms and to the front entrance which means no one can just walk in off the street. Within less than 100m there is places to eat and drink also with a 7eleven at the end of the road. Will be...
