Had a good experience, the rooms are okay (depending on what you pay: big & small rooms are available). Friendly & nice Staff, especially Usman & the Manager, they were always there when you need them for anything. They could speak English as well, which was very helpful. Our Charger wasn’t compatible with the sockets and Manager provided us with 2 chargers throughout our stay. It’s a good location for Tourists, close to Galata Tower. Distance to Grand Bazaar is trekkable . Hot water was always available & Air conditioner was working fine. Kettle, Tea & bottle water was provided daily. Daily Room service available, but cleaning can be improved especially in terms of cleaning the Drawers, Tables & balcony. Overall, it was a good experience, budget friendly and serene Environment. Shout out to all the staff, great team 👏👏

I booked the best room (502) and the view is absolutely gorgeous!! The hotel is easy going but very well located, close to the subway and Galata Tower. Just crossing the bridge, you’re downtown! Excellent service by the receptionists, always available and great people! I’d definitely recommend and coming back to the same place (and same room!!).

Firstly, I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past; it is in an excellent location (once you find it), the staff were always immensely friendly, polite and helpful, the rooms clean and spacious, the breakfasts good, and the prices very economical. I kept coming back for a reason. ||||However, on my latest trip I arrived, hot and tired, to be told that my booking had been moved to their other hotel in Sultanahmet, because a guest had decided they wanted to stay on longer. This didn't suit me - I had an appointment with a friend nearby, and perhaps my main reason for choosing this hotel was because of its location. I reluctantly agreed, since there didn't seem to be any alternative, other than dragging my suitcase outside and looking for an alternative hotel. At first I was offered a free cab to the other hotel, then this offer was withdrawn (!) and it was suggested I could walk to the metro. Eventually we agreed that my suitcase would be delivered to the Sultanahmet hotel in a few hours' time, while I would make my own way there. This suited me fine. ||||On arriving at the Sultanahmet hotel, I was told that I would in fact be staying in a new 'suite', which was a minute or so's walk away from the hotel in a separate building. The outside of this building was not promising! Broken glass in the entrance door window, and generally very shabby. Inside, however, I did indeed have a whole apartment to myself - bathroom, bedroom and kitchenette, clean, newly decorated, and very pleasant, if still not quite finished (no tap in the bathroom sink, for example, although this wasn't an issue as there was one in the kitchen area). This was far more than I could expect for the price I was paying, so they had obviously done their best to make up for moving me. ||||I clearly caught the hotel at a bad time, and on my past experiences I would still recommend staying here. However, I'd suggest double checking that you will indeed be staying in the location you want to stay in, if this matters to you. The staff are very pleasant, and I'll still be going back if I have to stay in Istanbul again, but a little more...

Unpleasant things:||Actually the name is misleading, the hotel is not in taksim at all its in totally different area.|The taxi from taxim tried to reach the hotel using navigation and failed and we ended up walking with our bags between abandoned buildings to reach the hotel.|When we reached we were surprised that the hotel is more like furnished apartment and has no elevators. |The kind size bed is actually similar to a single and half bed in other hotels.|We asked for a refund and the employee (fuat is his name) refused rudely and we demanded talking to his manager who was more rude.|Another thing if you are planning for a trip with a tourism company they find it difficult to locate the hotel to pick you up.|And last but not least the area surrounding you is full of shops selling plumbing and electrical items.||Arrived at 1:00 pm and the room wasn’t ready|Check out is at 11:00 am!||Pleasant things:|The location of the hotel turned out to be great, you just have to figure your way around.|10 minutes walk to galata tower|15 minutes walk to the end of istikalal street|15 minutes walk to the ferries port (going to many destinations like princes islands)|10 minutes walk to the metro station|||If I would go again I would not stay in the same hotel, but i might think of other hotels in the...

Staying at Blue Istanbul Hotel was, without a doubt, the best part of my trip to Istanbul. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is unbeatable—everything worth seeing is within walking distance. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its people.

Unfortunately, I booked a tour through Buta Tours while staying at the hotel, and it turned out to be a total disaster: false promises, delays, unprofessional behavior, and complete disregard for the customer. It felt like we had been scammed.

But when everything started to go wrong, the manager of Blue Istanbul Hotel stepped in and helped us like no one else would. Even though the hotel wasn’t responsible for Buta Tours, he went out of his way to support us, intervened with the agency, and treated us with kindness, honesty, and genuine care.

That kind of service is rare. It’s not just professionalism—it’s humanity. Thanks to the team at Blue Istanbul, our trip didn’t end in total frustration. If I ever return to Istanbul, this is exactly where I’ll stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended. (Except for the tour agency—avoid them like...
