DON'T BOOK THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL FULL OF SCAMMERS.
If you are even considering making a reservation at this hotel, am a licensed director of a travel agency and my advice: RUN!!!!!! Be very aware that the management and employees of this hotel are a bunch of liars and scam artists that will take your money and don't even give you a room. They are a bunch of sleazy thieves that think that they can get away with ripping off people. Read all the recent reviews and you will see for yourself. My mistake is that I didn’t read the reviews before booking this horrible hotel. My story: I am a licensed director of a travel agency. I made a confirmed reservation for my clients on April 5th. When the clients went to the hotel, the hotel refused to honor the reservation because it was full. Right away my client called me and I called the hotel to complain. The receptionist told me that the hotel is full and they cannot provide 2 rooms to the clients. The hotel told me that they forgot to update the availability in their reservation system (which is their mistake or maybe their way to scam people). So I asked if they can provide another alternative, they clearly said they can't help and they will cancel the reservation I made so I can get a refund. Then I found out that the hotel did NOT cancel the reservation and consider it a NO SHOW. Their explanation: the client didn't understand the receptionist and that they could give them 2 rooms but in a different building which is full of BS. I even called the hotel twice to speak with a manager and face them with what the receptionist has clearly told me on the phone but they tried to be sleazy and each time I speak with a different person with a fake name (they are SO sleazy that they will give you a wrong/fake name so you cannot hold them accountable to what they say to you). Long story short: They denied that I even spoke to them and that they confirmed to me that there was no availability at their hotel. SO, if you don’t want to be scammed, stay away from this sleazy hotel. And from my side, I am going to write about this hotel a nasty review in every hotel review board I will encounter and I will tell all my clients/ partners who travel frequently to Istanbul about your scam and sleazy ways of doing business. Read moreFirst red flag: we get there, we had 4 different rooms booked (1 double 3 triples) but we are told that there are only 2 triples and 2 doubles ||Second red flag: other customers at the reception are having same or different problems; one is complaining that he specifically asked for a non-smoking room as his wife is sick and they got a filthy room that smells terribly||Third red flag: problems when paying with card; I got charged, they tell me I wasn't, I check home bank and see I was charged 2 times 2 different amounts; an entire hassle starts lasting around 1 hour, in the end with the help of my bank (thanks ING) I get refunded and they instruct me on what to do next (pay with cash and ask for receipts) ||The receipt I got was made in Word, printed and signed by someone in the staff, they told me that they can't give me a fiscal one as I paid with cash. Not sure why buy I have a hunch that they are also doing tax evasion in there. ||Moving on, we take 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 triple and the other friends have to go and search on different hotels. ||I get first room at 1st floor(near stairs); I wasn't able to sleep for the 2 nights I was in there. No sound isolation and everyone is screaming or constantly stomping on the stairs , staff does not care, they also scream. ||Room is dirty. There is a specific smell everywhere (old and mold). There are stains on the bed sheets and on the towels. Turns out they are not dirty, but super old. They must use the same sheets and towels since they opened. ||Bathroom is dirty, there is mold on the ceiling. Also there is no ventilation, all the humidity is absorbed by the walls. There is a specific smell. ||Luckily, I only slept in there as I spent my entire days walking in the city. During the evening we would go to our friends who found a room to a hotel next there (NU if I remember correctly). They paid 10 euros more and the conditions were way better. ||Other than the location (which is close to city center) there is nothing good at this place. I would like to add that it wasn't really cheap either, but as I wasn't the one who booked it (one of my friends did this through an agency) I can't complain. However in the same are or for a few bucks in plus you can find decent conditions. ||I don't recommend it and I will definitely not...

I was robed of $360. Worst experience ever.
We will refer to this place as "location" since it does not qualify to be a hotel, motel, a hostel, or any place a decent person would stay. This location can not be categorized as a hotel and they are far better hostels than this.
Personal:
Staff were illiterate, communication issues, very ill-mannered individuals.
Room:
Moldy walls Stains on the walls Fixtures and moldings are chipped and has rotten away A/C does not work. Bathrooms are ... to put it short, the toilet does not have a seat! Room cabinets were filled with dirty linens and pillows Chipped and water damaged furniture
Beds:
Most sheets were stained Some beds are missing headboards.
I booked 6 days at this location. I booked through Agoda; more on their customers service later. The photos I saw of the location looked very good, it was discounted so I took advantage of the discount. The total, after the documents came to $360 for 2 triple rooms. I was happy with the price so I went to the location to check in. First of all, I was immediately greeted by a lobby that looked like a scene from 1970s and Staff that looked like they dressed like the neighborhood boys. I immediately asked to showed the rooms and that when all the problem began. They first stated that they did not have the rooms I reserved but rather "better" rooms for me. They showed their economy small rooms and a standard double room. I saw both rooms I was absolutely appalled by the condition of the rooms. I requested a refund simply because they did not have the rooms a requested + my dissatisfaction with the condition of the rooms. I was refused a refund because my booking was non-refundable. Although, Agoda policy is that if the hotel does not present what one reserved that they are entitled to refund. I called Agoda and spoke with for almost three hours; they Ultimately said if the hotel is unable to refund you we can not proceed with a refund.
