HOTEL KAYA — Hotel in Fatih

If you know you’re going to be out sight-seeing every day, and not hanging about in a hotel room, you’ll want to consider Hotel Kaya. From the moment my husband and I reserved a room with Hotel Kaya, our concerns about our lack of language were put to rest. A welcoming e-mail gave us the option of the hotel organizing a pick-up for us at the airport, and of organizing our participation in a choice of tours which might interest us. Also, the room rate is affordable, and with its en suite bathroom, will satisfy the needs of visitors. The breakfast, included in the affordable rate, gets each day off to a good start. Twenty-four-seven, the hotel provides free, sealed-containers of mineral water. If you’d prefer not to rent a car, Hotel Kaya will suit your needs. It nestles in the vibrant Old City. It is steps away from traditional eateries, a pharmacy, a grocery store, a beer and wine store, trinket stores, fruit stands, a simit bakery. It is also steps away from the waterfront and the metro-cum-pedestrian bridge that crosses the Golden Horn. If you want to experience in-depth tours of the waterways, the city, the friendly hotel staff will organize those for you. The ever friendly and patient hotel staff was the ingredient that made for a memorable stay...

The room is spacious, big closet and big bathroom, it has a good location in a lively area near to Historia mall, cafes, shops and ATMs But, I would give them 4/10 for cleanliness. I found in my closet 3 Quilts and 2 blankets which sucked! They Were so dirty and took the room service 2 hours to replace them with another one which wasn't that clean! Inside the closets was so dusty as if never cleaned! Their staff are rude and non responsive and unhelpful and when reminded of the thing I requested answered me carelessly sorry I forgot u!. The AC is an old fashiomed one, barely working, their food is Ok but there's no varaiety. Their Wifi was not working and they blame my mobile for it! My friend came to visit me in my room.they yelled at her irdering her to stay in the lobby because visits are not allowed! Poor communication skills..they were very rude and I argued eith them for their attitude and I checked out the next day. Not a good deal compared to...

Good stay for a budget traveller. Close to shops and restaurants and situated at walking distance from the metro and ferry. The rooms were clean. But, the rooms doesnt seems to be similar to the elegant ones displayed in the internet. My room was very small and its hard for anyone to walk inside. Within my rental period, I was away for 3 days visiting other cities. So, I locked the room with my clothes and took the key with me. And when I came back, I could see that they accommodated someone else in that room and told me a cooked up story; this is unprofessional. Though they alloted me another room, against my complaint of the balcony door's damaged lock, they gave me back the old room...and coz I appreciate their initiative to correct the mistake...giving them an average score. Also, the breakfast time doesnt seem suitable to a tourist as most tourists start off their tours early in...
