Rose Mansion by Otantik Suites — Hotel in Fatih

One small thing. |WiFi signal was weak sometimes and connection was lost for 1 day. It didn't really bother though. Once I asked to check and fix it, guys did this promptly. |It's not even a con but rather recommendation. |Cutting board will be really helpful for the appartment. ||I highly recommend this place for the travellers! |Floor 4 - The stairs are crooked but the best view is on the 4th floor so it's completely worth it :) ||Part 1. Appartment. It was really great and the same as on the pictures. We chose this appartment as we needed 3 separate beds and there were not many choices in the center. We ended up with only 2 people instead of 3 but I'm super glad that we got this place eventually.|We arrived at 4 am in the morning and we were sitting and staring at the mosques which were right in front through panoramic window. In the bedroom there is a seaview so you have the view of the city from one side and you can look at the sea when you wake up. Honestly, one of the best appartments we've ever been because of the location and views.|We usually don't cook anything or eat at an appartment/hotel when traveling but this time we decided to change this. It was so relaxing and emotional worth having breakfast and watching mosques, listening to the seagulls who were everywhere. Enjoyable at its best!|There are 2 rooms. Living room with one bed and extra sofa. You will get a table, 2 armchairs, big dining table with a bench, and a few chairs. The kitchen part is equipped with a microwave, an electric kettle, a set of big plates, small plates, bowls, small and big spoons, forks, a corkscrew, a knife, a very clean and properly working fridge (it's quite important as in a lot of places a fridge is usually really small or doesn't work as it should) and the rest. You'll also have some water, tea, coffee for the start which is really helpful. A wardrobe with extra pillows, towels, 4 or 5 sets of disposable slippers. |The bedroom is not that big but the bed is comfortable, linen and pillows were clean and homelike. There were 2 power sockets at each side of the bed.|Bathroom is equipped with a shower stall. There was everything needed like soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc.|The temperature in the appartment was good at all times. It was about 19°C outside when we arrived but radiators were turned on so it was really really comfy in the appartment. There is 1 big heater in the living room, 1 in the bedroom, and one Serpentine radiator in the bathroom.||Part 2. Service. This was one of the great things about this trip. Enjoyable stay usually starts with a good service. We were in touch with Tha appartment representatives long time before we arrived as we were thinking of a hotel transfer which they offered. When we came to know that the flight was delayed, we didn't order the transfer at the end. Still, it was good to know we could use it. They have 24/7 office (they really have it) because in some places it doesn't mean anything :)|Our flight was delayed for 8 hours and I had guys form the office in touch all the time letting them know about the status of the flight. They diligently checked on it from their side as well. When we arrived at 4 am instead of 7 pm on a previous day, a representative, Inşallah, met us and showed us to the room. I asked him if we could find some food that late and he even offered to go and buy us something. Really, it's the best experience in my life since he was so attentive and friendly. He met us smiling and showed everything really quickly as understood that we were really tired. True professional I must admit!|Actually, all guys were really friendly and offered tea, coffee when we came to the office a few times. They also talked us out of using a taxi and taking a shuttle bus to the airport which was much cheaper. I truly consider this as the great service we were given! |Also, the office itself is located on the same street about 10 meters front the appartment so there is no need to search or have a long walk like in the other places we've been before. ||Part 3. Location: Very nice. Quiet street. The street is leading to the entrance of Kadirga Park which is a good place and also making this very easilty to memorize when you do walk trips :)|There are a few shops nearby where you can find food and household goods if needed. We used Kim market as it's only 3 minutes walk and had everything you need at good prices.||To sum up, stay at this place definitely made our trip and it was pleasurable coming back there after long walk trips.|We always like to try new places and lodging but this is the first time when we'd like to stay at Rose Mansion next time we are in Istanbul.||Thank you very much for the great service and really nice location of this appartment! We stayed in brown mansion room 101

Problems started popping up since day 1. We first arrived to a clogged plumbing system, the smell was very bad and water was overflowing when showering or washing, the problem got fixed the next day (it shouldn't have a problem to begin with). We also had a broken AC (there was no cooling at all in one of the rooms). They told us they cant fix it the first day as it was sunday and its a weekend holiday, so as normal people we told them that we understand and hope they can fix it the next day (keep in mind the temperature outside could reach high 20s low 30s, its summer time and its the hottest its ever been in istanbul)

The next day comes and we ask for the AC to get fixed, they tell us they will contact the company and see when the AC can get fixed, later that day they told us to come later tomorrow to see what when the technician is coming, we were then told the technician will arrive in 2 days, which never happened.

We asked for a solution, whatever the solution was we were ready to take, so on the 3rd and 4th day we kept room hopping until they fix the AC (which again was never fixed). On the fifth day we went back to the room and were out of solutions, just praying the AC gets fixed. Later that day they told the technician finally came (2 days later than what we agreed on) and he "fixed" the AC. It was still just blowing hot air. The next day the same thing, until the last day the temperature outside wasnt hot, the AC wansnt blowing hot air, just cooler than usual air, but not fixed what so ever.

In the end im just really disappointed that a thing as simple as AC couldnt be fixed from a chain that owns SEVEN other hotels in the same area. And i would never recommend anyone to go to any of these hotels no matter what. Even the rooms are smaller than what they seemed in the photos (but that's my problem for not checking the sizes before going).

The staff were friendly (which should be a standard for a hotel) and the breakfast was good.

Please watch out and make sure that the room is 100% ready for a human to stay in before booking and...

Terrible!!Dont go there!Staff dont know other language than russian and turkish.Or maybe they dont want to speak.Pay attention to staff when they check you in!They drove you fast to the location and they dont give you the tour of the room except you pay first.I recommend that you DO NOT pay in advance!Not on Booking either!Check the room first and then pay if you want!My experience was terrible!Poor language understanding(they are russians not turks),they use the Begonville restaurant located on the street to marketize the location,rooms looks like ur in 80" ,poor cleaning,the matresses where full of acarians and they bite trough the night.I almost fell with my bed cause was broken.They shouldnt exist!At night the rats go trough the pipes and trust me..u cant sleep..worst "hotel" ever!I was for 2 days there..i couldnt handle it ..When i ask them for my money back they dont want to refund cause the policy refund.Awfull experince..Shame on them For scamming people like that.They give us some tickets for free breakfast-we where 4 including my son.At the restaurant my son didnt receive food.Awfull..stay aeay from them..If you request the bill with company name they dont even know how...
