Stayed here for 5 nights and i will give pro's and con's. ||||Pro's||The place is very clean and that is a must for me. ||The cleaners are really nice and friendly and do a great job. ||Older man in restaurant is very friendly. ||The shower is fantastic very powerful.||The area is not far from everything i.e walking distance to the Grand Bazar and other sights. OLD TOWN ||The tram is at the bottom of street. ||||Con's ||The food is terrible if you are English chicken soup, salad, vegetables. A very Turkish breakfast not continental which was a big let down for us. ||The rooms are so small you cannot lay your suitcase out and move around the room, the pictures are very deceiving so do not be fooled. ||There is no hanging space hardly, literally a small cupboard the width of hanger (not exaggerating) everything has to stay in the suitcase.||Rooms are very noisy. || Reception: the man is very arrogant and rude wanted to sell trips, expensive restaurants as people said previously, very unhelpful and unapproachable, would consider getting a lady as this is a massive put off. Always a miserable face like he is doing you a favour. ||The hotel in photos looks amazing, it is ok, although they keep the lights off in reception and around the hotel which we found a real put off. ||Honestly I would not go back.|| Please check out booking.com there are some amazing hotels on there if you can and closer it got for us 5 nights away rooms were coming up so cheap. ||Sorry for the honest review, hope this...
Read moreI stayed here as part of a tour, and based on my experience at this hotel, I'd advise others to stay elsewhere.
First, the staff is extremely rude. When the phone in the corridor kept ringing every ten minutes, I called the front desk twice, and the second time, the man at reception basically called me a liar. I literally had to take my phone down the hall with me and record the phone ringing, take it down to reception before he'd move me to a different floor.
When I went to dinner, the man running the restaurant asked me if I had dinner included with my reservation, to which I replied "yes". Upon me saying this, he called down to reception to verify that I had it on my reservation. Why ask me, if you're just going to call down to reception?
The WiFi on my floor didn't work, so I had to use cellular data for the duration of my stay.
Also, don't use the hotel's laundry services here. They completely destroyed some white clothing of a fellow guest on my tour by washing them with colored clothing. They didn't offer to compensate her, or even apologize.
The rooms are small and dated, but clean.
The only redeemable quality of this hotel is its location, which is close to a lot of things, but for the price and rude service, I'd take my...
Read moreI had an exceptional stay here and cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff are truly outstanding—genuine, patient, and incredibly kind. Despite not speaking a word of Turkish, I was met with nothing but warmth and understanding at every turn. The level of service goes far beyond what I expected. Every interaction felt personal and sincere. I had a bit of trouble with the A/C (entirely my fault), and the staff member who assisted me was not only helpful but also remarkably gracious—no judgment, just a friendly willingness to help. Breakfast was a delight. The menu was impressively varied, offering something for every taste. One particularly kind gentleman even took a moment to teach me how to say “thank you” in Turkish—a small gesture that meant a lot. I’ll absolutely be returning. This place isn’t just about comfort—it’s about connection, care, and truly unforgettable...
