We stayed at Azalea Terrace as a group of 10, and everything was simply perfect from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located, peaceful yet just a short walk from the centre of Göreme, with breathtaking views from the terrace.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Herdal, Ali, and the owners. They welcomed us with kindness, generosity, and genuine care, always attentive and ready to help.

One evening, they organised a private barbecue for our group on the terrace, which they fully prepared and cooked themselves. It was a deeply moving gesture, far beyond what we expected. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a beautiful moment of connection and generosity that we will never forget.

The rooms are spotless, fully equipped, with excellent bedding, and the breakfast is delicious, varied, and abundant.

We left with tears in our eyes and hearts full of gratitude. A huge thank you to Herdal, Ali, and the entire team for making our stay so special.

Let me first state that I was a little suspicious about this hotel. The prices, rooms, views, amenities, they all seemed too good to be true considering how affordable this hotel was. However, upon arrival we found everything to be true to what it portrayed online and better! The young man working in the reception, I believe his name is Shameel, is by far the kindest and most helpful person I could have come across. He booked all of our activities and was extremely helpful when it came to him advising my friends and I how we should spend our short time in Cappadocia. He’s such a pleasant person that my friends and I would often just go visit him in his office just to chat. I plan on returning here the next time I visit Cappadocia. This hotel is truly a gem, family owned and ran, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the terrace was gorgeous, there is freshly served breakfast every morning, and the service is out of this world. I strongly advise anyone who is looking into staying in the Goreme...

We are 4 Spanish friends that travel around the world, so we have been in some places. But this was definitely the most magical one. In the first place, we did a mistake in our reservation and even that it was our fault, they help us. Not just that, in addition Hussein was the most hospitable person we have ever met, he was attentive to us, making sure we were okay. We had a lot of conversations with him, he is a wonderful person, we also meet Merdam (a friend of him) and Hector (his dog, the most cute dog), and they invite us to do a route with them and show us a lot of things that if it wasn’t for them we will never discover it. It was a present for us. We actually miss them, they are also a wonderful person. We spent our last night with them, singing in the hotel’s terrace, that was incredibly beautiful as well.
