Such a Beautiful Hotel in the perfect location. Right in the Heart of everything. At the same time as being just round the corner from all the noise from the busy Bars. But they are just on the doorstep at the same time. We went just before the busy Summer season at the end of March. So things were a little quieter than it may have been during the busy season. The swimming pool was closed due to time of year. But the day we left it was being filled which was around the 29th of April. Meaning I expect they begin getting ready for Summer around April. So if you're looking to go around April or at the middle or end of April you may have pool access. The Parrot was super cute and made us smile more than once along with the all so welcoming Gentleman on the front desk he was always warm and friendly and as everyone else has mentioned, he was extremely helpful with everything. The room was perfect not massive, but we weren't looking for a suite just a place to lay our heads with of course a private bathroom. This place had just that and it was cosy. Nicely decorated. Had a hair drier and both a waterfall shower and a hosed shower. It also had a kettle in the room. Which I wasn't sure it would have. The one bad thing was the WiFi. Ever worked in the room we were in. But I read another person on the reviews mentioning they moved to a different room on the other side of the hotel and it worked better. We couldn't be bothered to do so. That was the only down side. It was annoying but we spent most of our time exploring all Antalya had to offer. So it wasn't a massive deal. And I am pretty certain if we had bought it up with the front desk they would of no doubt helped us by moving us to a room where it did work better. So I can't really mark the hotel down for that. As I didn't bring it up and give them a chance to sort it out. Like I say I believe if I had they would have gone out of their way to help us. As all the staff there were friendly and helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Castle Hotel to anyone looking for a bit of Luxury while wanting to stay in the Heart of a Beautiful part of Antalya. Ear all the shops and town area. At the same time not being too far from the...
Read moreWe stayed there for a week and had a wholesome experience. The staff and the building itself were amazing! From Kaleici to Castle Hotel took us 10 min to get and if you have big luggages, you can get a taxi for 100 TL.
We were very satisfied with breakfast. You get variety of food, so you can choose whatever you want to eat - sausages, fries, fruit etc. We also liked the coffee there! The coffee machine has from matcha to black coffee, all options.
About the location, again: Yes, it is located near to a restaurant where they play music but it isn’t that loud as the other reviewers wrote. The music stops at 12 and i can assure you, it isn’t unbearable. Besides, the hotel is near to the beaches and you can experience a lot by foot (shopping, cafes etc.).
The pool is well designed - if you are hesitant about swimming too deep, you can still swim there because it is designed for all uses. The ground goes from low to deep.
Staff is always ready to help. You can ask about directions and they’ll help you gladly. My mom forgot her wallet & phone at the hotel cafeteria twice. Fortunately, they found it and secured it until we came...
Read moreLoud music every evening from 19.00 to 00.00 in the hotel patio courtyard and the same even louder from an enormous restaurant directly opposite and within 4 metres of a number of rooms. Relaxing it is not. Can't imagine anyone wanting or coping with this every day of their holiday. Pack your anti mosquito spray/cream as my room had some every day.
Doesn't matter if you have a room for 2 or 4 people they are mainly 22 square meters. The rooms I saw were clean, pleasant and well decorated. Could not see any disabled access but they have ground floor rooms. Beds were good.
No coffee, only tea is supplied in the room upon arrival along with two small bottles of drinking water. Never replaced. As is shower gel etc. Never replaced.
The breakfast included in the room rate was okay. Drinking water has to be paid for!
The patio courtyard is pleasant, has a good well stocked bar, the pool is small but nice. There is a very cute parrot that miaows and confuses the resident cats whom ensure no rodents dare enter the premises. The parrot bites.
The staff...
