Mister hostel — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

I know that this is Ukraine, and I know that it is a hostel, but the facilities could be a bit nicer. I paid for a private room with a double bed. This was so my girlfriend and I could enjoy our time, not just in the city, but in the hostel as well. They turn off the heat during the day because they expect everyone is out. When the heat is on, it is barely on. It never truly feels warm in the room. The bathroom has terrible water pressure, and the shower curtain is too short, so water splashes all over the floor no matter how careful we were. Since the heat is off, this water never really evaporates.||||All said, they did call me to tell me I left my train ticket behind, and they were accomodating anytime we asked for something. Would be a 2 star review if it weren't for the staff. The location...

Lucky we had a private room with bathroom! What we saw...and smell around was discusting.. Comingupthe stepfromthe steet,wwas the first worry...But it well center.||There is more smokers in, than in a bar.They all end up on the courtyard balcony smoking, drinking vodka and shouting until midnight, with no control from the staff what so ever. Only 2 of the staff were ok, the other..didn't realy care.||Our room was smelling humidity, toilet.Mattress: we put a blanket under the sheet to be able to have some sleep. When the WEB site write for the ametnities: meeting room, kitchen, TV room, computor and lucker...Watch this!!! it is all in one small...

We arrived Lviv at five in the morning. Without reservation we came and could check in early. The staff is friendly and helpful, he knows the tiredness of overnight travelers like us. We were given a 4 bed dorm in the price of 6 bed dorm temporarily so we can nap for a few hours before sightseeing. Later we could stay in the same room. One drawback is that there is only one pot for cooking in the kitchen. The wifi is good and we can store our luggage on the day we left so we can do some sightseeing before leaving the city. We shall come back to this hostel next time when come...
