It's located in a square behind the main street buildings. Go thru the covered alley and there are numerous restaurants here. This one was recommended. I had the Mother with Sons. Waffle, maple syrup, blue berries, chicken, one (1) strip of bacon, two eggs, one half of cherry tomato grilled and ordered extra sausage. Outstanding. Definitely a hidden jem. When I went back I got the Bad Boy Burger & Bacon Fries. Wow. A really good burger, with a sweet BBQ sauce. The Bacon Fries has 3 or 4 pieces of Bacon (cooked European) not like USA. If there were more cheese, the bacon was crispy and drizzle the BBQ sause on it would be better. This place gets better every visit. The American Slam is outstanding. It's basically an Irish Breakfast or English Breakfast. Portion size is smaller. Their beans (baked beans) follow the same lines, out of can. No restaurants in Europe are Asia experiments with them. If you stop in Sasha is a great server and attentive to her customers. WARNING!! They have started playing RAP music. So if it's offensive to you are your...
Read moreIt's striking how difficult it sometimes is to get good service. Tsukor ("Sugar" in English) would have received four stars but for the fact that I had to argue with the waiter to get him to consent to putting the sauces on the side of my burger. By no means do I believe the customer is "always right", but if the customer doesn't like his burgers swimming in liquid, that seems like a reasonable request.
I'd be tempted to believe it's merely the zeal of this particular waiter, to insist that the food be served exactly as the menu creator intended, without accounting for the varying tastes of the customers, but it's not the first time this has happened in this city. It seems the perfect presentation of the dish is more important here than whether the customer will actually enjoy it.
You may wonder if this is all the result of miscommunication, as the restaurant is in Ukraine, and I'm reviewing in English; but that is not the case, as I also speak...
Read moreWe saw this restaurant as number 1 in tripadvisor so we decided to visit for breakfast. The service was good and quick, they have menu in english and they speak some english as well. They have different opcions for breakfast and everything sounded so delicious that was hard to choose. Finally we tryed the American slam, mother with two sons, coconut toast and others that I don't remember the names. We tryed their Capuchino with salted caramel and it was very testy. We were there twice. Everything was delicios. For sure we would come back when we visit Lviv again. Don't miss the opportunity to test this amazing food.
They had a poster with a happy hour where you buy a hamburguer from 18:00 to 22:00 and you get free wine. Unfortunately we couldn't come back for that but we will try next time we visit of...
