The staff is so rude I didn’t even feel like ordering. They insisted they don’t have WiFi when it’s actually on their menu and wouldn’t give us the password.

Update: the owner is correct, the free password icon is on the google review page under amenities. I was across the street the day before and they had a password. Also there was a locked WiFi connection with the name of the restaurant so I automatically assumed it belong to the restaurant I was at. This doesn’t change the fact that the staff was rude. The day before I was at the place right across the street and the waitress just nodded and pointed at the menu after I asked about her recommendations and ended up bringing me 3 dishes thinking i had ordered all 3. Eh. Service and food leaves much to be desired. This is a popular street among tourists - waiters should 1. Know some English if there’s an English menu. If you don’t want business from tourists and foreigners, don’t offer a menu in English. 2. Not be rude about having to take an order in English. (Especially if you want to join the European Union....) None of the customers were Ukrainian during the 60 minutes I waited to order, waited for my food, and ate.

The grilled pork and mashed potatoes were okay, but not worth waiting over 30 minutes for. Not sure why the meat was wrapped in a dry pita, other than the chef probably traveled to Istanbul. Overpriced compared to the fine dining I...

Ok, so, if you love great food and excellent service, get your butt to this place. I am not going to lie, but I was seriously impressed.

We went to several Ukrainian restaurants during our stay (including Pervak and Baluvana Galya), yeah, do yourself a favor and do not go to those :).

Great food (hopefully they have the salmon dish next time). -authentic borscht served in a bread bowl (are the picture and nothing else needs to be said). EVERYTHING we ordered is great.

Excellent service (very attentive) and brought food out at the times we preferred.

The prices are super cheap (for tourists).

Stay off the center of the plaza and get yourself some really great food...
