Rb Hostel JBR — Hotel in Dubai

Misled by the overly positive review, definitely not as clean or conducive. Among all the countries I have traveled, this is the most disorganised hostel I have been. Overall is an okay stay on budget, but if there’s similar price point elsewhere do re-consider. Observation of my 7days stay: There were cockroaches of all sizes around the house. Manage to take a photo of a small one. Cleaning was done not routinely but on ad-hoc basis. During my 7 days stay, there are certain dirt on the basin counter that was there on 4th day but remain till my last day. The shower head is at the bathtub and there’s no curtains, ended up the water will be all over the floor. Have to mop every time after my shower, troublesome and takes up time especially in a rush or tired. Corner of the room is very dusty, whole house has a weird smell upon enter. I saw a pan at the kitchen that was all black, don’t think anyone should be using it. Might be cancerous Irresponsive, they take 1-2 days to reply Wifi was down on one of the day due to no payment by the hostel. Poorly managed It’s complicating that the one overseeing the hostel stays in the girl dorm. There’s like a mum keeping a close eye on you and nags, for the boys dorm should be no issue.

Other points to note: The accom address on google map is wrong, it’s murjan 5 not 6 Bring own towel, toothpaste, shampoo. Shower gel are provided No charging plug at each bed, only at certain area of the room Wall not soundproof, bring earplug if required. Others may talk in the living room past midnights There is no guide provided on how to check in. Go to the security and register, head up and just open the door of the apartment. we family of 3 had excellent stay in mixed 6 beded dorm for 6 nights. This hostel value each aed paid for stay. kitchen is well equipped. u will get grocery nearby. indian food is costly around so keep it in mind. rooms and toilets r sparkling clean. host linda is gem of a person. location is tooo... gooood...Will definitely recommended. if u r group of 6 or 10 then u may ask for whole dorm. u get chance to meet interesting persons across the globe. one humble suggestion: fit exaust fan...

This hostel turned out to be the best hostel I have ever visited. There are hostels with great amenities. However, this place is calm and stylish, which is exactly what I like.
