La Casa Del Habano - JBR — Local services in Dubai

Coming from southern california LA area I'm accustomed to of some of the best cigar lounges the world has to offer, but places like this make me reconsider my aforementioned statement.. This place strikes the perfect balance between eloquent and casual in terms of the setting, which is absolutely what you want from a cigar bar/lounge. The service is world class, the staff is extremely knowledgeable on all things pertaining to tobacco, not just cigars, second to none. With 2 chefs whipping together decadent delights in the back I'm never left desiring more. If you hadn't noticed I havent even began to speak on their opulaent cigars yet.. Anyone with a complaint clearly doesn't realize that everything here is CUBAN, which makes this a well sized variety. I decided on a Romeo and Juliet, the blissful chocolate musk I tasted with each drag had me contemplating whether I was smoking a cigar or eating a fine dessert. What a delicacy! I enjoyed it from start to finish, hitting each note from lightly creamy with roasted nuts, to cuban funk and chocolate, to an almost deeper coffee finish at the end. It was like a whole symphony of flavor being played on the taste buds in my mouth.. Genuinely, I'm not just hyping this up, it was a delicious cigar. Between the perfect setting and perfect cigar I found myself floating away in a relaxed blissful state.. what a great experience I had here.. 10 out of 10 from...

Came here for a smoke on a Friday early afternoon. The humidor had a decent selection. There were some nice aged sticks, with a good selection of limited editions as well.

The problem is that some sticks were in poor condition. Some looked dried out, with splitting wrappers. a few sticks in the back of the humidor had a bit of mold on them. Not bad, but enough to make me avoid that section. Prices were high, but that is to be expected with for a shop in this touristy area. You are guaranteed real cubans though.

The staff was polite and the lounge was nicely appointed. Not all that large, but not cramped either. The outdoor seating area overlooks a circle exchange, but has nice quality...

Update 2022-03-01 Same great service as last time, delicious Turkish coffee, not so much special Cubans this time. Found a H.Upmann LCDH Edition though.

Awesome place in Dubai to buy and smoke cigars. Great selection of Cuban cigars. Prices bit higher than in Europe but found some cigars I can't buy back home. Friendly and helpful staff that gives you great service. Chose to smoke indoors or outdoors. Indoors you'll find nice armchairs and outside just enjoy looking at people passing by. No alcohol is served but great coffee and other drinks so it's just fine. Really recommend and I'll try one more visit...
