Actually was there 5 years ago. Drove down from Edinburgh via Berwick-on-Tweed. Yes we were lost, but what a great scenic drive. Got in to find there really is no parking, and were worn out. Rooms upstairs. Went out for dinner and a stroll, came back and collapsed. BREAKFAST! Finally met the owner, what a wonderful delight. Spent most of the meal in the kitchen talking. Read moreTracey and Andrew are absolutely lovely hosts. We went in December and the home was decorated so wonderfully with Christmas decorations. They are extremely warm. We were leaving for a long day of hike and Tracey kindly offered us two bottles of water for our trip. This gesture was much too kind. It was like you were visiting family. They provide such healthy and scrumptious breakfast that keep you going for a very long time.

Read moreHad a wonderful few days in Keswick staying at the Beckside Guesthouse. Tracey and Andrew were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The breakfast each day was delicious and the owners always found time to chat and give recommendations where to go. The guesthouse is in a quiet area of Keswick and only short walk into the town centre. Fitz Park is beautiful and just round the corner. We’ll certainly stay here again...
