Eurostay Bournemouth Beach — Hotel in Great Britain

The location is superb. However, whom ever i was speaking with on the phone could not understand what I was asking (can we get breakfast and/or other food) and they hung up on me! So i had to ring again and again. we were told they had considered closing as they didn't understand our arrival time advice when we got there. (About 4pm!) Thank God they didn't! The guy who greeted us was very friendly, local man who carried our bags up all the stairs (no lifts, and I'm pregnant!). He was so accommodating and a credit to the company, but it didn't make up for the broken springs in the mattress, the windows may have been last cleaned (inside!) Sometime in the 1980's, dodgy wall sockets and no lock for our door from the inside. The price was so low, we couldn't complain, but it was rather gross inside. Decor isn't just tired, it's rather dirty. They did give us breakfast, which was toast, and apple and a choice of two types of cereal. The games room is the most modern part of the hotel, by far, but it looks like people live there, and it smells of smoke in the walkways. I don't recommend staying unless none of these things matter and you just want a dry roof...

Me and partner stayed for a long weekend during the end of June/start of July.

We got a fantastic price online and when we arrived we paid for the room swiftly and easily with the polite member of the front desk. In fact, every member of staff we spoke to was incredibly friendly and talkative. Really making you feel welcome.

We had one of the large bay window doubles, which was very spacious, included a desk, wardrobe, bed, fridge and en suite. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.

My only complaint is the lack of cooling in the rooms, just a desk fan would have been the addition to top it all off as it was much too hot, it is worth baring in mind that we stayed during a heatwave, so I can't complain about this too much as it was an anomaly.

Overall we enjoyed the experience and will likely stay again given the price and location of the hotel. My outlook of my time spent here is positive, however a fan would have made our stay much more...

I can honestly say there is only one positive about this place and that is the location. Everything else you'd want to be good, wasnt. The rooms and so basic, they need redecorating and the bathrooms need to be sorted. My shower did not work and both taps on the sink released hot water. The beds were so uncomfortable and I did not have one good night sleep during my stay. The shower was dirty and had hair all in it. The bar wasn't very good as there wants anyone manning it and if there was there was very limited drinks to select. Because it had students it was very loud at bed time. The loft didn't work so lugging your suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs was not ideal. Won't be recommending this place to anyone unless they make drastic changes. Won't be...
