I stayed here a few weeks ago. Booked a double room but got room 14, which is a twin with an absolutely awful mattress on the bed nearest the window. The girl on Reception as I left said they hadn't been busy when I stayed. I arrived at 4pm but the hotel was not open. Ringing the number posted on the door just rings the telephone on the desk you can see. I had to ring their 'emergency' number to get a man to come and unlock the door. 2 others were also waiting to check in. Very big windows but no nets and it's on the road so no privacy if you want the curtains open. The room is as basic as they can make it. It was lovely and big but there was nowhere to hang coats or towels and the kettle was disgusting. I had to scrub it, but it cleaned quite easily for me so should be able to do it as a cleaning routine. I don't know if breakfast is offered, I wouldn't accept it anyway seeing the lack of care that goes into the other parts. There are a lot of hotels in this area to compete against.

honestly it was 'ok'. I'm usually picky with hotels but it was a spur of the moment booking and not much was left. I feel the hotel itself deserves a two star but the staff and location helped push it to a 3. From some of the reviews I thought there was breakfast at the hotel but there wasn't. No fridge, no air con, room was very small and stuffy. It's literally just a place to kip and wash. A bit dated, door on shower was broke, fittings were loose, standing water in plug hole, cob webs, damp coming in bathroom, people above us were noisy, sounded like kids were jumping off the bed and banging on the floor waking us up early. Positives however, bed werent bad, bit small but comfy and clean, lady on reception was helpful and polite, there is parking, the location is perfect, 5 mins from pier/beach and 5 mins from the town centre. I feel £100 a night was a bit steep for the room you get but I suppose some people would justify it for the location. Thank you.

Booked for one night to visit christmas Tree wonderland, as we do most years. Paid £83, so expected a fairly decent room! Like the rooms advertised on the website. Bonus was that they allowed dogs, so I thought great. Arrived, and the room was nothing like the pictures, we were so disappointed, but I accepted it as it was only for the night. I put my son to bed, and noticed that the bed was broken and leaning to one side, but he's only 3 so I thought we'd try, and he subsequently fell out the bed at 10pm, almost injuring himself, so I put him in our double, and I got in the single. The bed was so bad!!! I didn't realise just how bad until I got in it, I had to wedge a pillow under the mattress to stop me rolling out. The double wasn't much better, and not very comfortable. The room was so dated, and in poor condition, the cups were dirty, no bin? and we were placed right by reception, so disturbed all night. I didn't sleep a wink. I was so angry, that I sent a message at 2am to the hotel via our booking page, explaining to the owner all of the issues we had encountered, to be responded with, "you should have asked to move rooms", but I wasn't uprooting my son in the middle of the night to move rooms! When we had a long drive the next day. Had we have stayed longer I would have refused the room immediately. They refused to refund me the £83 on the basis I didn't pay a 'dog charge' ?? But I explained, the guy that checked us in, and 'stroked my dog', didn't say anything about a dog charge?! As I would have paid it! They then stopped communication, and I still haven't received a refund!? I would never stay at this hotel again, and urge others to avoid too!!! 0...

The place is horrible I couldn’t even say at least it’s cheap for what they give you, because they charged us £50 per night plus £50 fee for damage prevention charged on our card. |They advert themselves as a pet friendly hotel but as soon as we stepped in with our little dog the receptionist mentioned that the dog wasn’t allowed and he called his manager speaking in Hindi. After the call he asked us to pay £50 for the dog which was reduced to £30 as we reported that the fee wasn’t acceptable as we travel a lot and such an amount wasn’t even asked in a 5 star hotel in Switzerland. |He then assigned us room 20 which smelled cigarette from 1000 years ago. |We kindly requested a no smoking room and he then changed the room to number 22 which was slightly more acceptable despite the massive mould on the wall. The room was super small and old and freezing during the night. |We could hear noises from the other rooms and someone playing PlayStation all night. The reception is only accessible with a code during the night which wasn’t explained properly at check in and we had to call the “emergency” number on the door in order to access the place, the receptionist replied and he came from probably his room to open the entrance door looking like he was just waking up. |The heater was on and off at all times and when it was on it was super low. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I hope that they will realise how awful it is. It should be barely called “hostel”...
