The Lexington Rooftop Bar: Where Drinks Shine Brighter Than the Skyline

Looking for a rooftop spot in London that combines great cocktails with a killer view? The Lexington Rooftop Bar is your answer. Located atop the Angel district, this place offers an unbeatable panorama of the city’s skyline, complete with cozy seating and a vibe that whispers “stay a little longer”.

Drinks Worth Writing Home About We started with the Gold Rush, a delightful mix of bourbon, honey, and citrus that felt like pure luxury in a glass. Smooth, sweet, and just the right amount of punchy—this was a small but mighty serving. Sure, it could’ve been a touch bigger, but at the price, it felt like a solid deal. And hey, who’s complaining when it tastes this good?

Next, we dove into a Dark and Stormy, and wow—this one set the bar (pun intended). Spicy ginger beer, rich rum, and lime blended into what was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Bold, balanced, and impossible to sip slowly. Honestly, I might have dreams about this drink.

Timing Is Everything We visited two Fridays in a row, and while you’d expect a Friday night crowd, it was surprisingly quiet both times. Perhaps we were too early for the post-dinner rush, but the calm worked in our favor. If you’re looking for a serene spot to enjoy your drinks and the view, this is it.

Skyline Therapy Speaking of views, the Lexington’s rooftop serves a visual feast. As the city lights began to twinkle and the sky turned that deep London dusk-blue, it felt like the perfect setting for a Hollywood ending. It’s one of those places where even your Instagram stories feel inadequate.

Final Verdict The Lexington Rooftop Bar strikes a perfect balance between style and substance. The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted, the prices are fair for the quality, and the view alone is worth a visit. Whether you’re here for a pre-dinner drink or a quiet evening with friends, it’s a solid choice.

Would we return? With a Gold Rush in one hand and a Dark and Stormy in the other, absolutely. After all, isn’t life better with a great...

After slow to get out of the starting blocks, overall a great visit and would recommend. We arrived 10 minutes early and the rooftop bar wasn't open or ready for Service so was asked to wait in the lobby until 12 o'clock which was the time of our reservation. The guy behind Reception came over to us at 1 minute to 12 and said they're still not ready yet but shouldn't be long, I explained our reservation was at 12 and we were under time restrictions so worried that if the service was slow we were going to end up rushing for the train. Anyway we were seated by 12.10 and ordered and served drinks by 12.20. The Afternoon Tea arrived 10 minutes later so they absolutely redeemed themselves after a hesitant start. The guy serving seemed to be on his own but it was quiet so he quite comfortably served food and drinks to every one in a calm and efficient manner. Very polite, friendly and a big smile, nothing was too much trouble. On to the food, there was so much of it, very good value for money considering it was a Groupon voucher, it even included a glass of Prosecco. there were 4 finger sandwiches each which were really fresh, often you find the sandwiches dry and crusty on Afternoon Tea, like they have been stood around a while, these were far from that! You then got a small sausage roll each which was warm, individual red velvet cake, individual carrot cake and a warm scone with jam and clotted cream. Great experience,...

I came here this afternoon with my wife for afternoon tea. It was a gift from my son for fathers day. It was a wonderful sunny Saturday afternoon. My wife had a elderberry mocktail, which was like pimms. I had a Pinacolada, and a pineapple twist cocktail, which was nice and sweet. They sat us inside for our afternoon tea. But we could go outside on the rooftop with our drinks before and after our afternoon  tea. The afternoon tea consisted of 4 finger sandwiches. Salmon, ham and mustard, beef and horseradish, egg and cucumber. We asked to swap our salmon for another one and they happily obliged. So we had 2 of one of the others. We did this on arrival so they had time to do it. The sweets. We each got. A Macaron. A Little flan. A Strawberry blamange on a biscuit base. 2 scones with jam, clotted cream and butter. A Victoria sponge  because we don't like carrot cake. Once again they happily swapped this out for us. And a pot of tea each. Don't worry if you can't eat it all. They will package it away for you. The staff were very nice and friendly. An enjoyable experience. Thanks...
