so glad I came here! this is the original hard Rock Cafe, not the main building you see. in this backroom bar, you can see original carvings on the bars and tables from the likes of AC/DC and others, in addition to the random scribbles on the wall from those who have passed through.
because it was an old church, there's a really unique atmosphere and has that punk/hard rock feel to it.
there is a good drink menu with cocktails, beers and soft drinks. there is a small food selection, mostly appetizers and such, but they are still delicious and well prepared.
The service was amazing! The bartender even shared some of history of the bar itself.
you can definitely go to the more polished hard Rock Cafe restaurant, however, the back room is where I would absolutely suggest you go if you want to...

Found this near the new Hardrock Cafe, just down the street from our hotel. Unlike the main Hardrock Cafe which had no tables available on a Friday night (only booking/reservations), The Back Room had a couple open tables and no wait. Popped in and ordered some food and drinks. Service was good. Food came out quick and was satisfying. We were able to watch the beginning ceremonies on the TV while we ate. Then got on our way. A good selection of beers, spirits and also cocktails, along with a couple of screens around the walls showing pop videos if no sport is on. All in all, a great place for a quick visit and drink, but longer if you want food, which is coming from the HRC's kitchen out...
