Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Alaska

I wanted to give this place a full five stars because every time I've gone in for my personal drinks, I have been greeted with friendliness and fast service. I love the atmosphere and can tell the workers are doing a wonderful job! However, an issue that I have encountered from ordering carafes has raised concern. I have placed orders with them a few times for carafes of coffee. I give them a specific time that I need them to be ready for pick up a few days in advance and even check in with them the day before, as well as the day of half an hour before. Each time, they tell me that they will definitely have the carafes ready at the time I requested. Then when I go to pick them up, they aren't ready. They will tell me that they'll need another 15 minutes to get them ready. I even give them the name of the person I spoke with saying that they would have it ready at the time I asked for. This has happened every time I have ordered carafes. This has been an issue because the coffee is being ordered for meetings at my office. We give them a specific time so that the coffee can be ready before those meetings start. So when I show up and the carafes aren't ready to go, then I end up being late to set up the meeting.

This convenient location I will unfortunately pass on from now on, I gave it a few weeks on chances but the results are the same. I typically just get brewed coffee on my way to work nothing fancy and I’ve gone in the morning and in the afternoon and every single time The coffee is close to room temp maybe Luke warm at it’s best. Yes I know Starbucks will re make my coffee but I shouldn’t have to turn around and wait to have them remake it. The fact that it had been served to me every time nearly at room temp is a bigger issue, I believe in make it how you would want it. Something is up at this location and if the daily brewed coffee isn’t kept on a warming pot then steam it hot before serving it to make it appear fresh and hot, from my experience I will now skip and find a new location on my way to work from now on. I thought maybe it was just a fluke the first few times but it’s still the same weeks later. Not posting for a response but to prepare any future customers that this is a possibility here so...

I stopped going to the location on 100th and C because they changed management and went WAY downhill. I didn’t think I’d ever go back to Starbucks unless they offered a BOGO or something crazy. But I ordered a boujee treat matcha for myself today and OMG better than I could’ve expected!! I got the matcha creme Frappuccino with NO classic syrup (instead I sweeten with vanilla bean powder), I got it breve (half and half instead of whole milk since the ice waters it down), asked for it double blended with extra caramel crunch topping and caramel drizzle and IT IS AMAZING.
