We stayed at townhouse # 2 in spring of 2024 for a trip to Disneyland. It was a fantastic choice for a family and we highly recommend it! When traveling with children, it was so nice to have a second bedroom with bunkbeds (also lower trundle bed to pull out). The unit is large, clean and comfortable with a fully stocked and renovated kitchen and bathrooms. There were fun Disney-themed highlights throughout including a Mickey Mouse themed toaster which our kids loved. The beds were comfortable and nice linens.
A big plus was having laundry in the unit. For those traveling by air, you don't need to pack as much. Also the unit has a double-stroller available which we utilized on this past trip. The living room is large and tastefully decorate and there is a patio off the living room as well.
There is a really nice, fully-fenced pool area with large (unheated) main pool, smaller wading kiddie pool and hot tub. It was dated but very clean and perfect for an afternoon swim. Right next to the pool area is a playground which came in handy on the day when were were heading to the airport and had some down time.
When you first arrive to the townhouse complex, you will see it is massive with many units so definitely read the instructions well to navigate walking in to find the unit from your vehicle. From the outside all the units look very similar.
The communication with the owner was excellent and they answered all our emails in a timely manner.
To walk to the entrance of the parks, it is a solid 15 mins at an adult pace (not including time to get through security check which was rarely long around 7:45am when we walked in) but took us closer to 20/25 mins pushing a heavy stroller. We always chose to walk but the parking lot with tram are closer (maybe 10 mins) if you want to hop on that which would take you to the front entrance. You do have to cross one street without a cross walk, but even with kids we felt fairly safe in doing so as there are moments with longer breaks in traffic.
We are so happy to have found this accommodation so close to the parks and can't...
Read more(Stayed in townhouse2) For many of you who consider staying for multiple days to visit Disneyland Resort, I’m sure Magicmouse Townhouse is the right choice. I have several reasons to recommend this guesthouse. Firstly it has easy access to Disneyland. It is located in a quiet area separated from busy city life, 10 minutes walk to the tram and 15 minutes walk to the West security gate. I know google map shows you longer time on foot, but actually it’s much shorter if you follow the instruction on the video given by the host. If you don’t want to walk, of course you can use uber, which will take less than 10 minutes to the East security gate, which is even closer to the entrances. Owing to this accessibility, we were able to go to Disneyland early in the morning, come back to avoid hot sun, and went there again to see night shows. Secondly it has amenities that are useful for a long stay. For example, it has many power outlets in each room. In addition to normal outlets, you can connect USB devices directly. The one in the living room even supports USB-c. So the family members do not have to wait in line for each smartphones or mobile batteries to be charged as long as you bring USB cables. Also it has three comfortable bathrooms, two of which have a shower-room (one of them has a comfortable bathtub). This is important since it saves you time to take a bath before or after you go to Disneyland. Finally but not the least, the owner Cheryl is very helpful. She answered many questions before and after we decided to stay, and gave us support during our stay, including offering to adjust the air conditioner remotely even while she was abroad. This was our first time to stay in a guesthouse, but we had no problem thanks to her support. For the reasons mentioned above, I highly recommend...
Read moreAnother wonderful stay in Magic Mouse 2! We stayed Dec. 2022 for a Disneyland trip (2 adults, 3 teens) and June 2024 for a gymnastics meet at the convention center (2 adults, 2 teens). I highly recommend this very clean, well maintained, cute and comfortable 2BR, 2.5 Bath condo, walking distance to Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center. On our recent stay we especially loved the unexpected surprise of the recent kitchen remodel, new stylish (yet comfortable) living room furnishings, and new table and chairs on the private patio (perfect for morning coffee and evening downtime). The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, glassware and other basics you might need. Plenty of bath and beach towels, comfortable beds, delightful rain shower in master bath. Central AC and fans in the bedrooms keep the space cool and comfortable. Pool area is large and pool temp warm enough to enjoy in summer months, hot tub a nice treat in the winter. The owner is very responsive, friendly and accommodating; self check-in is straight forward, and check-out requirements are easy/minimal for a vacation rental. The complex is quiet, mostly residential (residents are kind and welcoming), and while some of the other buildings are cosmetically in need of repair, this did not diminish our stay at all. The rental fee includes a parking space, and for the location and amenities, it is an unusually good value. We will...
