This Winnie-The-Pooh attraction is by far the worst of all of them that have been constructed. The choice to render stuffed animal characters as plastic-y, slightly actuated statues illuminated entirely by blacklight is jarring compared to the source material. It's a definite downgrade from the Country Bear Jamboree that preceded it, has worse artistic vision than its brethren in Orlando, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. (In those three variants, blacklight is used exclusively to highlight the "Heffalumps and Woozles" nightmare scene.) There's no point in even making comparisons to Pooh's Hunny Hunt at Tokyo Disneyland, which, while following a similar narrative, is far elevated above this attraction quality-wise. With the renaming of the area to "Bayou Country" in preparation for "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" next door, this attraction seems an even more peculiar fit.
The only upsides I can give are the short wait time (due to the poor quality), and pleasant exterior with a natural setting. A shame they didn't continue the vibe into the attraction. Also, the Sherman Brothers music is awesome, especially in the queue area. But none of that can rescue this dumpster-fire of a Disney attraction. Hopefully they'll consign it to the dumpster soon and put the area to good use...
Read moreWhen I found out that The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was at this part of the park I was confused. It’s such a good family ride and I didn’t feel like it’s placement at the corner of the park made it forgettable. But it’s placement now makes more sense. It’s placement in Critter Country fits so well with the theme of the ride and the land. Also with it being at the edge of the park it is forgotten about but when the park is packed it serves as a little refresher from all of that. I recommend a ride on it even just once, though it is greatly viewed of as a little kids ride a ride on...
Read moreThe Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a delightful ride that truly captures the magic of the Hundred Acre Wood. My family and I went on it last week, and it was a blast. The ride beautifully retells the classic story, and it's clear the ride designers had a lot of fun with it. Seeing Pooh's love for honey and Tigger's endless bouncing always brings a smile to my face. The ride, the story, and the movie are all just awesome. It's a must-do for any Pooh fan,...
