Our high expectations of The Annapolis Inn were exceeded. The location is perfect for any Annapolis travel agenda. We were close to the harbor, the shops, the pubs, the Naval Academy, and church. The rooms are so nice we wouldn’t have minded being rained in for a day. The entire house is both beautiful and comfortable - but the comfort mostly comes from the genuine hospitality of Alex and Joe. They prepare a wonderful breakfast and share their home graciously. They are highly soulful and intelligent people who will have you laughing and/or in tears with their amazing stories, and their unique and beautiful connection with the Academy and the town. We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at The Annapolis Inn, and I expect you will too - so look no further and book your stay. Thank you, Larry and Joy

The Annapolis Inn is like no other Bed and Breakfast you have ever been to. The house is magnificent, the rooms are amazing, the food is delicious, but most importantly, the service is impeccable. Joe and Alex are the most welcoming, kind, helpful and friendly guys you will ever meet...who are also great story tellers! You will sit down to breakfast and not leave until lunch! We have been coming here for 20 years, and if we skip a year or two, we can't wait to return. This was our first trip since COVID hit, and the only place would stay. It truly was like coming home! My very favorite place to stay! And the city is amazing too. Joe and Alex will recommend the best places to visit and dine at.

My girlfriend and I were thrilled to spend the weekend at the Annapolis Inn with our fantastic hosts, Joe and Alex. They both offered great recommendations -- food, things to do, when to visit, dos and don’ts -- and their entertainment and laughs were non-stop. They were pleasant, open and welcoming. We felt like we were at home but better. The location of the inn was ideal for sightseeing and taking in all that Annapolis had to offer. Alex prepared a tasty and thoughtful breakfast tailored to our dietary needs and preferences. Overall it was a cozy weekend. Thanks, Joe & Alex! We enjoyed the conversation and look forward to seeing you again!

While I’ve never stayed at the Annapolis inn, I feel that this story speaks to the level of customer service they provide... ASTONISHING.

I live in the area, and as I am walking home I see two young women who were clearly in distress. One was slumped over and non-responsive and the other was frantically trying to describe where she was (her speech was also slurred and she too was stumbling.)

I stopped and asked if they needed help. She said she was calling the hotel for a shuttle. That seemed a little “off” too me, so I called the annapolis non-emergency number, just in case the woman had alcohol poisoning. As I waited in a thunderstorm for police to arrive to help, another young woman showed up.

I asked who she was and she identified herself as an employee of the hotel. She told me that the friend of the intoxicated girl called the front desk asking for a shuttle (a service they don’t provide other than to and from the airport).

This employee could tell over the phone that these girls needed help, and took it upon herself to leave the hotel and walk through the rain to help her guests. I mean, who does that?? You think anyone at the Marriott is going to leave their place of work because a drunk guest called and asked for a shuttle?? HELL NO. The level of care, professionalism and compassion that this employee showed to a total stranger staying at her hotel is beyond words.

KUDOS TO YOU...

A Truly Magical Stay at the Annapolis Inn

From the moment we stepped through the doors of the Annapolis Inn, it felt like we had been transported to another era—one filled with elegance, charm, and genuine hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Annapolis, this beautiful bed and breakfast is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience I’ll never forget.

We stayed for two nights, and every moment felt special. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—warm, thoughtful, and full of grace. They welcomed us not just as guests, but as old friends, and it made all the difference. The inn itself is breathtaking, with a timeless beauty that wraps around you the moment you arrive. It truly feels like stepping back in time, in the most magical way.

One of my favorite parts of our stay was hearing the hosts' stories—especially their experiences with hosting Navy cadets over the years. You can feel the deep pride and affection they have for their community, and it adds such a personal and meaningful layer to the visit.

Each morning began with a delicious homemade breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and served with care. It was the perfect way to start the day and added yet another touch of comfort and love to our stay.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Annapolis Inn to anyone looking for a truly unique and heartfelt getaway. It’s more than a bed and breakfast—it’s a beautiful memory...

Dear Alex and Joe,

I hope all is well. Now that the waters are temporarily calm, I would like to let you know how special it was having you at my son’s graduation party. We appreciate very much that you opened your home’s doors and welcomed all of us for another party after! Everyone had a great time!

I also want to thank you for giving him support, friendship, advice, patience, amazing meals, birthday parties, Easter dinners, car lifts, cooking lessons…and so many other things that I can’t think off right now. You made his 4 years at the Naval Academy much more meaningful, and smoother despite the many challenges. More importantly, you taught him and us the importance of selfless giving, something that you so naturally do by sponsoring Naval Academy Midshipmen.

May God bless you for all the young lives you helped shape in the right direction, for offering care and good advice, and for the peace of mind that you give to their families back home.

I am very proud of my son’s achievements and the beginning of his next chapter as an officer. I am very excited about his brother joining the Naval Academy and pray that he will do well on his academics and military training. Knowing that you will give him the right advice when he reaches out is very special.

Please stay in touch.

¡Muchísimas...
