The rudest snobbiest employee I have ever encounted was today at this store. My mother,sister and I walked into the store along with our kids greeted with this behavior. When we first got there my neice and son went to where the front window display is, to play with their new toys they were excited about. While my mom and sister shopped, I sat next to them to keep an eye on them. Their employee came over staring at the kids like they were a disease, like we were lower, and as if we were a disruption to the store! They were not running, destroying or touching anything and I was sitting right next to them to supervise. My sister tells my mom âI donât feel very welcomed here with someone staring at me the hole time, itâs making me uncomfortable, letâs leave.â Their employee says she was not staring she just doesnât want the âkids to get hurt.â How could they get hurt playing with toys sitting with their mother/aunt? I then pick up my son quickly to leave (who has autism) which upset him causing him to cry and now she is staring in disgust at my son! I let her know it is very rude to stare, he has autism. She gave 0 apoligy and 0 reassurance that we are welcomed to shop there! VERY discimitory and unwelcoming. I guess you canât be a mother and shop here or have a disability? I bought two dresses a day apart for my sonâs graduation. I planned on trying both on the day of and keeping the one I liked best. When I went back into the store the next day to pick up the second dress, I found out they donât do returns. Only exchanges or store credit. Doesnât matter if itâs within 60 days with receipt (it was 1 day) the rule still applies. The sales people were eager to help and answered questions every time I was in. The store provides a peaceful, clean and no pressure shopping atmosphere. Everything is neatly organized which makes it easy to shop. The future of shopping is moving away from malls and it's more important than ever to support these local stores.
