Check in went smooth for us. Once we got to the room we found that the room smelled horribly like marijuana. There were also burn holes and stains all over our bed comforter. Which seems odd because we booked a non-smoking room. It was disgusting. I went down to go tell the staff and they had very poor customer service. They offered me a ''spray" for the room to cover the pot smell. I had told them that it already smelled like someone had tried to cover the smell with perfume and I wanted another room or to speak to a manager. They told me they were booked and my only option would be to check out of the hotel. I had informed them if I had another option as far as leaving, I definitely would. I was there for business and all other hotels in the area were booked. I told her I was not leaving the office until I got this resolved. She told me she had to "text" her manager. I waited for 20 minutes, never got a reply or anything. I had to leave for a meeting, the lady up front informed me to call back periodically until 8pm to see if she had heard back from her manager.. I kept calling and she never heard anything back. Which I'm not sure why they had to text, and not call. Seems extremely unprofessional. I had also asked for a new comforter. And when I arrived back to my hotel that night it had NOT been replaced. So I slept with the burned comforter and went down the next morning for the breakfast. I was there for business and had some other people from my group staying in the same hotel, we had the SAME EXACT ROOM and they had informed me how much they got charged which was $40 LESS then what I had been charged. When I went down for breakfast I had to speak to the same customer service lady, and she informed me her manager would give me $25 off the room. I asked her about them refunding me the $40 I had been extra charged and she again had to "text" her manager to see what he would say. He replied and basically said to bad so sad, all they would do would refund me $25 for the pot smell and burn holes. When I went to check out they gave me my receipt and it showed I had only been refunded $23. When I told her it was supposed to be $25 she informed me that they had to charge me tax on my refund. Which is completely bogus, they should take the hit on their side- not me! Not to mention the 2 nights I stayed here, there was what seemed like a bunch of criminal activity going in the parking lot. Lots of cars going and going and lots of people smoking pot. Not only my room- but all of the rooms and the whole parking lot reeked of marijuana! Not to mention the man who I believe was the maintenance man who lived there had a pit bull living in his room. Not that I have anything against dogs, or even pit bulls for that matter, but everytime you walked by his room the dog growled and tried to jump through the glass at you. All in all this was a very poor hotel, I actually am going out of my way to tell people TO NEVER stay here! I hope the place gets shut...
Read moreOur room was smoke free but smelled like smoke not to bad tolerable but I had to throw that out there. Breakfast was okay considering it's free. Everyone was nice to us and my stay was okay but what has hurt me the most is we stayed here back in August for 3 nights for a fun family get away to sixflags. My card had showed processing and we thought nothing of it. Here it is 4 months later in December on the 18th my card was just now charged from our stay back in August. I have two kids and this has hurt us a lot. It's Christmas for crying out loud. I understand we have to pay for our room in which we thought we did. Our bank account had shown processing and the funds weren't available to us so we thought it came out. Never put second thought into it. But they had a glitch in their system is what I was told when I called earlier, so people's cards are just now being charged. Well a phone call would have been nice since obviously they knew they didn't receive their money they could have let us know. This is horrible and awful customer service. Your taking from a family that's trying to survive in this world just like everyone else and when we took our vacation back in August it's because we had the money then. If I wanted a vacation in December I'd have taken it in December. This has hurt our family put us in a big bind. We have 3.00 on our account now. It's very sad and I know I will never be back nor will my family ever visit a Quality inn and suites. Idc how...
Read moreFor starters we were booked a room that was supposed to be a non smoking room the duvet on the bed was covered in cigarette burns. Along with various other stains. The walls/paint was all messed up. The door to our room was missing half of the weather stripping I could stick my foot underneath the door to outside or vise versa. The underneath of the bed was torn up and hanging. I went to ask to switch rooms and the girl working the front desk tried to charge me . Finally we got switched to a different room that was clean but the air conditioner was not properly working. My mother was in another room and they had trouble making her door latch every time. The walls out side were bad you could tell that at one point there was graffiti but they didnt paint over it just tried to scrub it off, you could still see it. The out side walk way up stairs had a pretty sketchy lean to it. It is in a kinda sketcky area next to a smoke shop. The parking isnt secure park at your own risk.. When we checked out we asked for a paper receipt after the girl told us we were ok to go and she hesitated and had to get a manager who then had to take off some mysterious 10$ charge . Only good thing is that they allow dogs.. but there is no place to let them use...
