Run Run Run I EXTREMELY do not recommend this place on arrival the staff were extremely let's say difficult to deal with and very rude took over an hour to check in when no one was at the window when we pulled up had reservations then made us wait for people to get checked in that came after we did were checked into room 212 where the a/c didn't work got maintenance and he proceeds to turn it off and back on where then it works for 5 min. Then doesn't work anymore so you have to constantly turn it on and off ever 5 min. And thats hard to do when your trying to sleep in a full size bed we paid for that turned out to be a fold out couch with the notorious bar across your back wich I needed a blanket for when asked the acted like I was robbing them then to my delight the door does not work you have to put all your weight on it to get it to semi lock well it blew open anyway and woke up to the door blowing open and a storm soaking my bed and me so then I got to sleep in a wet bed and couldn't get more bedding such an extreme nightmare this place is i need to report these people because some of this is illegal for them to continue business with if you do not want to ruin your vacation don't stay at this unfortunate place with horrible staff I just can't express enough how disappointed I am with this place and its staff o and btw I was maintenance at Marriott for 5 years when I was in my 20's so I know what a person should expect at basic level and this definitely was not acceptable and as I said is actually illegal to continue operations in this condition then found bugs in the bed thank goodness they were not bed bugs only little beetle things but still bugs wish I could post a video of this place actually I will on social media the only thing this place has going for it is its location close to the stadiums and six flags wich is the only thing and I mean only thing keeping this place in business but this place should be replaced you can notice it was built in the 60z or 70z and has been poorly remodeled many many many times this is the second worst place I have ever stayed at I feel really bad for the person who dumped all there money on this last remodel because they got ripped off you can tell someone with no experience has attempted to remodel this place but failed in the most important ways now rem. What ever staff reads this know that it is the law that the door closes and locks by itself then it has to be able to be securely locked from the inside without a 200 pound man putting all his weight on to semi lock it """Closes And Locks on its own """"" they can and will shut down this business for this if it is not fixed on every door im serious because im going to report these issues so other people don't fall into this trap and have a horrible...
Read moreI want to say this was a clean hotel, I want to say the people of the hotel were nice, I want to say this was a great experience, but sadly I can not. My story starts out like any other, we checked into our room late Friday night. Great customer service at this time, super helpful explaining both my reservations. On Saturday we took our kids out on the town came back with lunch my husband dropped me off at the front desk so I could check into our second room that our friends also from out of town would be staying in. I would not say at the time this was the friendliest person but I also would not say she was the worst at this particular time. I proceeded back to my 212 hotel room to eat my lunch. I then decided to go to the other hotel room I had just received the key for 10 minutes prior. And that is when ALL HELL broke lose. I walked into room 230 and it smelt sooo bad. I went to walk back out and the hotel maid blocked me in the door way and started accusing me of smoking in the room. I told her I had just received this key from the front desk and she then accused me again of smoking in the room. She walked passed me and used the room phone and called the front desk. She started speaking another language as I could not understand her. She handed me the phone. I said hello and the front lobby lady (Who I had just received the key from) then accused me of smoking in the room. I then made my claim again that I had not, hung up and raced down to the front lobby. I walked into the lobby and told her I did not appreciate being accused of smoking. I have not smoked in my 28 years of living. She told me that just after she had given me the key and she tried calling me and I didn't answer the phone and the maid thinks I was smoking in the room. I told her go smell my room go smell my breath I did not smoke in that room. I want to speak to a manger. She told me there was not one here and I told her get the manager on the phone or refund me for both my rooms this is ridiculous. She then got on the phone with someone. The conversation at this point was another language and some English. I heard her say "oh some the people that stayed the night before". She then got off the phone and told me this is just a big misunderstanding. I told her give me a different room or refund my money. At this point I am very upset for the lack of customer service. I hope everyone reads this review and thanks twice before staying at this very very unfriendly staffed hotel and I hope this brings attention to their management team that something needs to change. I know in the future I will not being staying here which sucks because this is our 2nd year in a row to stay at this exact hotel for Monster Jam weekend....
Read moreI never leave negative reviews. I think it’s way easier to complain to recognize good work. But. Here we are.
I have been traveling across the US a lot recently (like 15,000 miles in 7 months). I always camp or stay at Motel 6. I was told to try Wyndham instead. So this trip (New Hampshire to California), I decided to try them.
I arrived just past midnight at this location. I was checked in and went to my room. After unloading my truck, I finally settled in for some quick rest. When I turned on the TV, every station looked like it was out of a television from 1986 with a broken antenna. I tried to fix it by checking the connections, without success. The AC shook and groaned every time it turned on.
I called the front desk and was told that I could move rooms only. I asked if there was some other remuneration since it was almost 1 am and I had already unloaded my truck. He indicated that he couldn’t but to speak to morning management. I just wanted to crash at that point.
In the morning, I brought up the issue to the different employee. She said “I didn’t have a note.” So I showed her the picture of the TV as well as a video and one of the AC unit. She just repeated, “I didn’t have a note.” I explained that when I called last night, the employee told me to speak to the morning employees. She just shrugged and said, “I didn’t have a note.” Then another employee, who was intently interested in this conversation (done through bulletproof glass), said, “Oh what room, we will get it fixed.” I said which room but explained that I wouldn’t be able to benefit from them fixing it now. He said “Well, if there were other rooms, that’s on you.”
I explained that I had driven 8 hours and it was after midnight when I arrived. I also had already moved all of my things into the room. He also just shrugged
I asked the female employee if it was their policy to not provide any assistance for a significant inconvenience in a stay and she said, AGAIN, “I didn’t have any notes, so...” I asked who I could speak to and she told me that the manager may or may not be in but it would be much later.
I asked for his name and contact information (it was blank on the name plate on the wall). She just stared at me. The other employee told her to just give me a business card and mumbled derogatory comments about me. I asked him if he would be okay with how it was being handled and he just stared and drank his coffee.
The worst. And I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s I’ve had to use furniture to barricade my door due to the unsafe area and other occupants... and their staff was far better, even under those...
