Where do I begin.... Buckle up people this one's going to be quite lengthy but there will be plenty of pictures and video.... At the advisement of someone, I took on the task of renting a room at Red Roof Inn and provide an honest and thorough review. Room was relatively spacious however there apparently were guests that were there before we arrived Roaches, Roaches ROACHES!!!! Roaches were on the wall; Roaches were on the microwave; Roaches were on napkins; Roaches ran across the headboard.... Now I get the saying "You get what you pay for.", However I didn't sign up or pay for roaches, With this location being right in the Entertainment District, naturally I'd expect better; especially for tourism as Six Flags is within walking distance. A friend of mine came to visit and felt harassed by a member of housekeeping who kept leering at her every move. The location is pet friendly but there are no true accommodations for pets; people were walking their pets and their dogs were 💩ing all over the parking lot and many didn't pick up after their pet (won't show pics of poo), which sat in the parking lot where vehicles eventually ran over it.... Due to the negligent acts of some pet Owned passed on that responsibility to Maintenance. I saw prostitution and drug deals happen. A complaint was filed and then I was restricted from extending my stay; I asked the employee why and he stated because I made a complaint, the Manager would like to speak to me first beforehand. Now there was an offer made to change rooms but by then as I told the Manager, if I changed rooms and Roaches got in my gear/equipment, they'd still be wherever I went. I gave a perfectly reasonable solution to make things right and left me reevaluate their service from there but he refused; The Manager refunded me partially but if I had encountered this Dince Day 1, shouldn't I receive a full refund?? 🤔 The tub has some type of film in it; The toilet leaked; and the only thing securing the bathroom door was a screw.... 🤷🏾♂️ There were other things that didn't look right. Red Roof Inn, instead of alienating and retaliating against consumers who bring you business, look within and do right by them, even if it requires to not do the "popular thing"; Make exceptions on a case by case basis but above all, try to be fair and solution oriented; Discuss with the affected or complaining party and seek to understand and together reach an agreement. I would like a full refund as I encountered some of the most egregious service in my stay and nothing was done. If you're going to give it back, give it ALL back.... Make it right and fix this. If you want to discuss it please feel free to reach out via phone or email.... #RefunditALLthen.... #SayNotoRetaliation.... #ReachOut.... Update Red Roof Inn responded, however, what they're saying is absolutely untrue. I did not refuse a refund as I have a receipt of a partial refund; I also mentioned in my narrative the same. My thing is if you're going to refund any money, refund the FULL amount.... I benefit nothing lying to Google or anyone who reads my reviews; I'd appreciate it if you not slander me. I was there for 9 days; not 4.......

Read moreIf i could give this place a no star rating i would!! My Family and I were staying here in between moves and at first it seemed not too bad of a hotel. We should have read the reviews prior to our stay. Three days in we find out we have 2 imaginary people and 3 imaginary dogs staying in our room. They also claimed that we paid the pet deposit but not pet “rent” for our service animal and the other dog which was supposed to be free was what we were told when checking in. From that they wanted to ID and inspect our room. I wouldn’t recommend staying there over the weekend unless you’re willing to pay 30 extra dollars a night! This place is apparently pet friendly but has no place for your animals to safely go potty. Hotel management refused to talk directly to the person whose name was on the room. They also had contractors what were going against OSHA and health department regulations. 3/4 of the rooms were closed due to Health and Safety concerns and a few days in contractors and the manager knocks on our door to measure things and we had asked if this would be considered our “inspection” and they said no they would come back the next day. The next day, we got a call from front desk saying that we were to leave by a certain day due to our room “smelling bad and not picking up dog poop” which was not true at all!!! We come down to talk directly to front desk and they informed us that they didn’t know what was going on and their manager told them to say those things. Hotel manager kept wanting to make up excuses to kick us out but never followed up on any accusations!!! Management kept wanting to talk to us but never faced my dad whose name was on the room!!!
Update* red roof inn answered: You guys are lying!! You were not making any efforts to talk to the person whose name was on the room! in fact you guys waited for him to leave to chose to call or show up at the door! Also you guys were aware of our two pets not 3 not four and definitely not 5 animals in the room and didn’t decide to start charging anything until we were there for three days! Your staff was spying on us looking for problems. Our animal waste was properly disposed and if anything the whole time there we felt your staff was making up bullshit excuses! Just because we didn’t want your staff in our room with our personal belongings doesn’t give you guys the right to make up bullshit excuses. Your staff talked to the kids in the room not the adults....
