Swank House- Main St House — Hotel in Ashland

You can't beat the location....one block to downtown, one block to Safeway, two blocks to a coffee shop, restaurant across the street...

The interior design has been thoughtfully considered...you can tell they took time and money to create the interiors: modern farmhouse meets old antiques....both bathrooms have all the amenities you need...upstairs master bedroom is the nicest of the two bedrooms....GREAT mattress.....firm, just the way I like it... The interior design makes you feel like you're stepping into dwell magazine...

loved the free bag of coffee beans, popcorn and chocolates....

customer service was spectacular...

ok a few small suggestions:

*update the coffee maker *the mattress in the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced *add umbrella *since you enter through the alleyway, the first impression is not that great....maybe potted plants, better signage, something to say this is chic *roof is metal, so if it's raining, the upstairs bedroom is LOUD!! just FYI *when exiting the house to the front lawn outside, there needs to be some curb appeal like your neighbor to the right....since your lawn is all shade, I would add some shade loving plants and hardscaping to bring up the quality of the outside, which is looking a little sad currently. *East Main street is pretty busy and hit and miss, with some run-down homes next door....not sure what can be done about that. Sofa is too low to the ground and has lost its padding. I would replace the sofa

This has been the best Airbnb we have stayed in! We were even greeted with a special birthday surprise!! It was cute and thoughtfully organized. We brought some Blue Apron meals and cooked it on the hot plate that was provided as well as made our breakfast daily. We frequented up local restaurant for lunch and dinner. The Swank House is located in a perfect place to walk everywhere. Abby and Matt were perfect hosts and responded to our questions very timely. We LOVE staying with the Swank team when in Ashland! This house fits all the combos of two families. Ive been here with my teenage daughter, her soon to be collage roomate and mother as well as my best friend and daughter. Everyone has space. The house is beautiful. The staff sre available and alert to anything that could come up. I had questions and interests that were helped immediately! My goal is to stay in each rental over the next fee years.
