3 Magpies Antiques — Local services in Ashland

Oh my goodness I cannot rave ENOUGH about this antique store!! I visited for the first time today (7/30/23) and have fallen in love. This unique store has a nostalgic library feeling. Like your favorite relatives living room filled with unique and fascinating things!

They have ceramics, jewelry, vintage, retro, and antiques. Things from all over the world are represented from clothing to artwork to statues and nick nacks. I fell in love with their authentic prints and historical documents such as feminine magazines as well as LIFE and the oodles of postcard everywhere.

Though I didn't get to peruse the clothing section this time, I look forward to visiting again and admiring their textile section with silk prints, yukatas, kimonos and other vintage clothing.

A very welcoming and comfortable environment, you can tell the owners really put their heart in to their shop and get real joy out of people...

Aimlessly wandering through downtown Ashland, we saw 3 Magpies Antiques and made a note to return to this shop. We walked up right when they were closing; despite, the owner - Izzy - said, why not, come on in. We walked into this antique paradise and realized we couldn't leave until I'd perused every corner. Izzy said have at it. I used to work for a major US auction company and recognized that Izzy and her partner had filled the space with the very best antiques, art of every country and era, clothing, memorabilia, paintings, graphics, pottery, china, silverware....the photos I took will speak volumes as to the wonderous wanderings you'll have in 3 Magpies. I have been a long term customer of 3 Magpies for years, now. Izzy and David are amazing, and some of my favorite vintage pieces have come from them. And after several years of knowing me, they also know my taste. We've gotten to the point where Izzy puts 19th century and early 20th century pieces to the side when she gets them to let me look at them first.
