Mattress Firm Vail Avon — Hotel in Avon

I wanted to pass along my experience that I had at the Avon Mattress Firm store today. I have been sleeping terribly on my current mattress and as much as I didn't want to, I decided to go check a few things out. When I entered the store I was greeted by Whitney who could not have been more helpful or patient. We spent a considerable amount of time discussing what was wrong with my mattress and some possible solutions. Whitney was very knowledgeable about the extensive product lines that they carry in the store and presented multiple options at a variety of price points. She was in no way pushy or negative about lower priced options. This was important to me as I have been wanting to get away from my current hybrid/foam mattress and return to a more traditional innerspring mattress. As it happens these mattresses fall into the lower price tier (although still expensive) relative to some other choices in the store. I narrowed the choice down to 2 options and Whitney made some excellent points/suggestions to help me make my decision. We discussed their 120 sleep trial and Whitney assured me that if I wanted to change to the other mattress within the sleep trial period that it would be no problem at all. All in all my experience at the Avon Mattress Firm was very positive and I highly recommend checking them out for a potential mattress purchase....

1 STAR REVIEW FOR EVERYTHING ELSE Had delivery scheduled for today, with a window of 1:30-3:30. I left work for this delivery. I waited until 5:15pm. I finally received a call saying they're at the house. I go outside, and the delivery men tell me that the mattress isn't on the truck. Awesome. I wasted 4 hours of work. I call the store, furious. The only thing Whitney, the store manager, offers is to refund the delivery fee (something she said they do for everyone who doesn't get their item in the time window). She then offers a third party delivery option that I have to pay out of pocket. She says she'll take that off our bill. Wow, thanks for essentially nothing. Does that make up for the money lost from missing work? Nope. Does she offer to do anything besides pay for the third party delivery? Nope. I'll never use Mattress Firm again. Thanks for prolonging a painful memory.

Mattress Firm Avon turned a mattress purchase into a very informative, enjoyable process. Our salesperson Tessa was knowledgeable, very pleasant, and very patient as we worked through decision making process. Was never pushy or rushing us to make a decision. She was extremely well trained on the products and was very professional throughout. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a new mattress to put your trust in Tessa and Mattress Firm Avon. Our mattresses and adjustable bases were delivered yesterday. We received top notch white glove service. Drivers were Mattress Firm employees, not a subcontracted crew. It is just nice to see people know what they are doing. Made sure to take of their shoes at the door, very careful not to scratch walls or damage anything, and make sure everything is exactly where we want it.
