Wishes the Toy Store — Local services in Avon

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Wishes Toy Shop in Eagle. I purchased an RC fire truck from the store that, unfortunately, never worked right out of the box. I brought this to the attention of the store, expecting a simple exchange, refund, or store credit – any reasonable form of customer service. To my surprise, they refused to provide any resolution.

What’s most concerning is that they appeared to be aware the toy was defective when it was sold, which raises serious ethical and potentially fraudulent concerns. Selling merchandise that doesn’t function as advertised, and then refusing to make it right, is unacceptable business practice. At a minimum, customers should be able to trust that a children’s toy store will stand behind the products they sell – especially when the item is faulty through no fault of the buyer.

I’d urge anyone shopping here to be extremely cautious and to carefully check products before purchasing. A toy store should be a place of joy and trust, not disappointment and...

This is a wonderful toy store! They have so many unique products at a fair price. Yes, some things are pricey, but I don’t find them to be inflated in price as compared to other retailers. I like to support local businesses any way I can and the owner/employees are so friendly. You can tell that everything in the store is carefully selected and so many items are unique and my two boys love everything I’ve purchased here. I could spend hours looking and I still don’t feel like I would see everything....

I love this place! Great local shop with excellent customer service, selection and they even wrap your purchase with a homemade bow if you need wrapping. Can't find any of that at a big box store. I have found wonderful gifts from infant clothing to toddler toys all the way to fun adult...
