Overall 99% happy with our choice to book here and the overall experience. |If you’re a tourist and not familiar with Boston this place is easy enough to find as long as your gps is working. That being said the information they give you in order to check in is thorough enough and precise but it is a little vague. There is literally no parking around unless you pay for it . So my advice to travellers is to drop your partner off to go to the harbour masters office to check in and you circle the block or park illegally at a near by hotel until you see your partner to pick up lol. I think they should give better instructions on how to access the parking for the Marina in their emails. They should also tell you how much parking is per night / day so it’s not a surprise when you leave .||Getting past this minor thing, service was great. We had an employee allow us entry to the secure dock area and walk us to the yacht we had rented. |Once there she went in and explained every thing we needed to know about the boat and the services they provided.|This is Wow experience ! and way better than a hotel room for about the same money! |Having no idea about Boston , the office staff were very friendly assisting us on how and where we needed to catch the”T” to get to Fenway. Easy peasy from this location! |“The boat” wow , older but still in great shape. It could accommodate up to four people . We were shown our area and the brochure Indicated if you used the un rented space you would be charged a fee. Understandably ok. Our space consisted of a stateroom with a queen bed and a private bath. The common area to both rental cabins was a nice sitting area and a kitchen equipped with microwave and fridge with freezer. |We had use of all the decks outside. It was marvellous to sit on the decks enjoying the spectacular harbour views and pretending we were the owners of this gorgeous boat. |Not only do you get this great experience, but they provide you with breakfast vouchers for this quaint little bistro just a quick 5 minute walk away which was amazing.|They also provided you with discount vouchers for an Italian restaurant should you choose to dine out. |They provided coffee for the on board coffee maker and enough creamers in the fridge to last your stay. Also in the fridge was a couple of complimentary bottles of water. When you checked in you were giving a little gift bag that included a few small snacks and other little trinkets.||“About the place in general”|It’s a secure dock . You need a key to get in. You could leave your boat unlocked if you choose because nobody messes with someone else’s boat. You can’t cook on your boat but they offer bbq grills up by the pool to cook your meal . This is a nice way to meet people while you cook. The pool, was a nice in ground and heated. ( mid 70’s maybe 80) pool with enough chairs and loungers for the people that used it. |Carts were available to carry your belongings to your rental. It was a Quiet peaceful retreat . |You are virtually right on the freedom trail.|if you want to see something else on the water there is a ferry terminal minutes away.|if you want to catch a Bruins game or a Celtics game your minutes away. If none of this interests you can walk along the waterfront and enjoy the wonderful parks . There is an American tall ship ( US Constitution museum ) about a seven minute walk ||So now the 1% negative , being a stones throw from the freedom trail they should have freedom trail maps available for their visitors who like us knew nothing about Boston . That being said though , the staff were very friendly and willing to answer questions. || Long and short … My wife is already talking about returning to this location to catch another Jays game and staying here. I shouldn’t say that though in order to keep this hidden...
Read moreWe stayed on Inn The Moment and Sea Chalet. The first night Sea Chalet, is a small houseboat with an amazing view! It's at the end of one of the docks and the view is unobstructed by other boats. I sat for hours at night on the small private deck admiring the view of the lights shinning on the water. It has a full bathroom that was actually pretty big for a small boat. And it had plenty of hot water. It does move if someone is walking around on it so be prepared for that. It is a boat and does sway a bit, but it really didn't bother me personally. I can not stress enough how beautiful the view was, I loved it! The second night Inn The Moment was much larger than the Sea Chalet and had a living/dinning/kitchen area. Plus 2 bedrooms and 2 small bathrooms. You do have to pay extra if you want to use the second bedroom and bath. It was very cozy and much more spacious than I expected. My fiancée is 6ft tall and could easily stand up without bumping his head anywhere. It also has a private deck area overlooking the water but you do have to look over other boats to see it. The bathrooms are more typical boat restrooms and are very small. In the Moment felt more like a space I could stay comfortably for a couple days and didn't want to leave. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. And the other people staying on boats in the marina were all very friendly. The only con we had was Inn The Moment had no hot water in the bathroom. We notified them and a staff member came and turned it on and there seemed to be hot water in the kitchen but none in the bathroom. I mentioned it when checking out and they asked how we liked it other than that lol. I was a little surprised they didn't offer a small refund or a discount on a future stay. But other than my freezing cold shower that really woke me up it really was a lovely experience. And would highly recommend staying there and we will hopefully return for another stay at some point. We live somewhat in the area and go to Boston every chance we get and will definitely try to stay there again. I only wish that Inn The Moment was docked next to Sea Chalet so we could have the nicer boat with the perfect view and didn't have to decide...
Read moreWe started our trip planning as quick overnight in Boston before heading to New England states Fall Road trip. We added a night to catch a specific Walking Tour, so extended our stay by one night, Constitution Marina was a great home base for our Boston sight seeing. The Port accommodation fit our need with sleeping space at a great rate ( and why not try something new). ||We stayed 2 nights in Port and found it to be less than what we read from reviews. In the changing season, we needed the air conditioner during the day(in our quick stops in and out) and a little heat at night. Thankfully we did not need the AC at night, since it was incredibly loud and noisy. We could not have stayed on Port during the hot summer nights. We opened windows and doors for the breeze, which worked in early Fall. The Heat did not exist, so more blankets were needed. The unit says optional heat, which we learned was not an option.||The tub shower needs to be replaced, with separate controls for each, which were a makeshift add that was poorly finished off. ||The Breakfast Bakery option each day is a great location, but opens later on the weekend, so be aware. Food is good and you go through the allowance fast in a Boston coffee Shop / bakery.||Staying on a Dock had an interesting vibe that you will not get anywhere else. Wish we were only there for one night, since navigating a tight space with luggage for 2 weeks was complicated and the, less than par for our taste, accommodations got really old after 24 hours. ||Port was clean and the outdoor space is lovely for sitting and planning the day. We were there to sight see, so our time was mostly there for stopping in and resting.||The folks at Constitution Marina was super nice and helpful in getting our luggage to Port. They were great to deal with every time I called and in making a change to reservation. I would love to have seen the larger boat options, as I believe they are much nicer for a group and would provide indoor sitting space. No place to sit inside...
