Cabins at Grand Mountain — Hotel in Branson

Customer service was completely lacking and each cabin is not equal when it comes to cleanliness. We arrived to check in and our cabin door was completely open. The lock was broken and we were not comfortable staying in the cabin. We tried calling but they wouldn’t answer. We had to drive back to the clubhouse.which is across HWY 76, not an easy trek. We asked to move to a new cabin and management was very rude acting like our feeling of safety was not important. They moved us to a different cabin that was horrible. It was filthy and there were a bunch of ants crawling all over the bed. The office would not answer the phone again so we had to drive back to the clubhouse. They told us they could not refund our money. I even said I understand the first night but how about the 2nd and 3rd. They said no. Our only option was to stay in the less secure, but cleaner original room or the filthy cabin. Also don’t believe your booking when it says they have an indoor pool. They do, by the clubhouse which means you have to drive up the road and cross 76 to get to the pool. It is not on property. We stayed in cabin 250. Great location for Branson activities, easy access to most everything. We spent $1200 for 4 nights for 4 adults and 2 very young ones. If the owners would give this cabin a little TLC it could be a 5 star. Main floor bed/bath, tub/shower drained extremely slow and shower head had very low water pressure. Missing grout around a few floor tiles and sliding door very hard to open and shut. ||Bed was bouncy so wife and I woke each other up every time we moved and top of mattress too thin so uncomfortable for good nights sleep. Bar soap, shampoo and body wash only good for 1 night, so be sure to bring your own if staying longer. Temperature in upstairs bed/bath hard to control, had wide 10 degree temperature swings between cycles. Otherwise, nice fully stocked (non/food) kitchen, internet worked well, sofa and chairs in living room were comfy. Overall, cabin was mostly clean, a very few webs and dead bugs. Would probably pick another cabin if we return, unless we were sure the items above got...

The room was decorated very nice & we enjoyed the tranquility & shade of the location, but we could not sit out on the deck. There was another hotel's pool located right behind our cabin, and we could hear all the noise of loud talking, yelling & laughter. It wasn't peaceful or relaxing. Even though it was a log cabin feel, we didn't like seeing holes of daylight coming through several areas of the cabin. Small animals & bugs could easily get inside the cabin & we could also hear the noise from the pool area. The location was close to nearby attractions, but it seemed secluded like you were out in nature, other than the pool noise. There was no lock on the front door other than the keypad. We didn't feel secure in the cabin, especially after the cleaning lady walked right in without announcing herself or knocking. We were disappointed in the services & staff. The cabin wasn't very clean when we arrived. The people in the nearby cabins also seemed very nosey...
