This hotel just opened a few weeks ago. Our room was very clean, but it smelled like a chemical new carpet smell. The sleeper sofa was not complete. It unfolded to a solid wooden slate. I believe there should have been a pad or something because no one could sleep on that comfortably (and my husband slept on the ground in the army so he could handle a lot). The hotel told us that the bed was how it should be, but we had to sleep on it as a couch. Every morning, there is a nice complimentary breakfast that was always packed. People were so rude, and they were throwing their trash on a full trash can, so it was all over the floor. Puddles of milk and juice surrounded the trash cans. The poor girl who worked there was trying to keep up with the mess, so nothing was restocked. We didn't eat breakfast there because it was so crazy and unstocked. By the 3rd day, we noticed that the carpet was wet on one side of the room. There was water coming from the room next door. We left a day early. I am sure as a new hotel, kinks will have to be worked out. I hope for their sake that the quality of people that were staying there was not how it normally is. If it is, then maybe another person at...
Read moreInitial impressions are that this hotel would be great. It is brand new and should be wonderful right? Wrong, this hotel misses the mark on so many ways. The room decor is bad. I really can not believe that of all the packages, this location owner decided to go with the worse one. Secondly, the beds/mattresses are like sleeping on a pile of cardboard. They are incredibly hard and stiff. Actually woke up sore with impression on my skin from the bed, interesting there were no impressions on the bed where I laid. The pillows are the worse, totally for show. They flatten out as soon as you lay on them and there is not bunching them up. Housekeeping is BAD. Walked into my room for the first time and found like 20 pubic hairs belonging to someone else all over the bathroom floor and shower.
I gave this hotel an Average rating because it is new. I have no doubt that it will be a 2 star hotel in 6 months and be rocking the world with the Red Roof Inns in less than a years time.
I was told the same people own this hotel own three others in the area. I would suggest that they try to get on right before moving...
