It is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have tried this summer 2023. I fell victim to my love of triple threat, Fajitas. Chicken, steak, and shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the caramelization on the onions and peppers just enhanced the favour even more. The 3 proteins were plentiful and cooked to perfection. The side plate had beautiful light fluffy rice with rich thick red beans done right. Pico de gallo was fresh , but only to be upstaged by the freshly made Gaucamole the star if the plate. A little bit of lettuce with a scoop of sour cream finished this plate. Chips and salsa were good but basic. No complaints as Chips seemed fresh and salsa was tasty and not too runny. I stayed to finish everything single bite on both the skillet and the side plate. Also, I was able to negotiate with server to skip the tortillas in favour of 1 grilled jalapeno. Lol! I don't use them so no use wasting them on me. This way I get an extra treat for free so to speak. I will definitely be trying to get back to this place at some future point to explore more of their extensive menu. I highly recommend you all try this place, if ever in the area of Calhoun, Georgia!

3/17/25 UPDATE: after a few years I decided to give this place another try. Wow! Was I disappointed. We didn’t even order. I ordered a margarita and it was the worst margarita I’ve ever had. The salsa is not freshly made and has too much cilantro. We did order a cheese dip but didn’t wait for it. Because of their no refund policy on alcohol, I asked for the check and we left. The manager came out to try to make it right, but it was a lost cause. I already knew I should have never been back here. This time can say with certainty that I will never be back. The chips and salsa wasn’t very good. Chips were cold and the salsa was just so-so. We also ordered a cheese dip and it was brought to the table luke warm. Since that is the first impression about the food I wasn’t expecting much for dinner. I was surprised though. The Nachos Guacamole’s was good. The deep fried flour tortilla chips were very good. My wife had the nachos hawaiian. It was refreshingly different for Mexican fare. I might give it one more chance, but with so many Mexican restaurants in town I don’t think so.

Decent food with great service. The food here was OK, but nothing special. I feel you could get the same food at nearly any Mexican restaurant. However, the service was great. Superb waitress that was very attentive and took great care of us. We stopped her solely because we were in the area at the outlet shops. I had the pineapple chicken, which had a good taste, but others in my party were not very impressed with their chicken. Grilled chicken was very thin, and somewhat overcooked, and the queso was very mediocre with little flavor. I would not avoid this place, but I know there are better options. Friendly staff and clean restaurant though.

My family ate here a few moments ago. I asked by waitress for a Taco Salad with no meat (I’m vegetarian) and specified I wanted only sautéed bell peppers, onions and tomatoes with lettuce, sour cream and guac on top.

When I received my food, it had spinach as well as mushrooms inside. I ate the shell and was unable to eat the rest because I am highly allergic to mushrooms.

It would not have been a big deal had the waitress acted differently. I advised another waiter of the issue and asked for our check as she had not been by her table for a good 10+ minutes.

When she brought the check, I told her my food was incorrect and that I was allergic to mushrooms, and I had not asked for that in my food. She did not apologize, nor did she take accountability or any responsibility for the incorrect order.

I went to the run a Store to pay my check and I didn’t want or expect my food to be free since I ate around the shell but I asked the person bringing me out if there had been an adjustment due to the incorrect food. The waitress was standing at the side, and she stated to me “ Your order was not incorrect. The fajita taco salad comes with mushroom and spinach and you did not ask to take it off.”

I advised her that I did not order a fajita taco salad because I don’t eat meat. I asked for a taco salad with no meat and to add sautéed bell pepper, onion, and tomato. She continued to basically say the fault it was mine instead of taking accountability.

The owner was actually the person ringing me out, and he said rather condescendingly “how much was your food? I wasn’t aware it was incorrect either.”

I told him it wasn’t about the money that it was about the waitresses attitude. I work in the customer service industry and have even managed restaurants myself in the past, and I would have never allowed an employee to act like that to a customer, especially when I was being completely nice about it when I first addressed it to her.

It is very sad because we recently discovered this restaurant and I’ve ate here probably 12 times in the last two months since discovering it. We will not be...

I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants in my life. In terms of flavor, this was the worst one I've ever eaten at. The service was quick and friendly, but the food tasted like something Instant or out of a can. The salsa was bland and the chips tasted like a warmed up bag of Tortilla chips. I had the Special Dinner: 1 taco, beef enchilada, chili releno, chicken tamale, chalupa salad, beans, and rice. Pretty much the standards for a Mexican resturant. Beans and rice were dry. Taco was "so-so", the tamale not bad, but the enchilada and sauce were terrible. They use some kind of red enchilada sauce. I swear it tasted very close to the Old El Paso stuff in a can. Most places do that delicious, brown, Mole sauce. Not here. The chili releno was the worst thing on my plate. Soggy, heavily-breaded outside, and bland, bland, bland poblano pepper and pasty cheese. Again, service was great. The sweet tea was awesome, but I didn't go for the tea. I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't happening. I will be surprised if they last 2018, due to both the food and their location. Maybe they were having...
