The lady that did our tour wasn’t knowledgeable to any rum facts. Questions about the distilling process were met with the response “I have no idea.” The rum we were served is made in France and isn’t actual Caribbean rum. The tour is more of a transition to get you to walk around the jewelry store. We paid $250 for 7 people to attend but we were given a lot of “rum” but I would consider a price of around $100 more reasonable given that we only had about 2 shots of liquor. Went to do a rum tasting as a private event. We had a great time! The staff was knowledgeable about the rum, the process to making it and what sets their rum apart from what us mainlanders think of as "rum."
