We were at Coconut Grove for a family reunion. It was delightful. With that said, our family is fantastic, so I am bias.||||Yes, I would caution buyer beware, as it is an old Florida property with lots of charm. ||||The host & hostess of our reunion arrived a day before everyone else. They did set up and utilized the items the property had there. i.e tables & chairs, etc. They also did a lot of cleaning and tidying. The tiki bar was cute, we cleaned and used it the whole time. You need to bring your own supplies and bartenders. When the property is not utilized for a large group event, I am sure the common areas are not as attended to by the cleaning company, if it is not used. This being said, the common areas are outside, in Florida weather, they are going to be sandy and need cleaning when you arrive. ||||Our host picked rooms for each person in the family and when we arrived they had name tags on everyone's door. We had a very nice room. I did hear some grumblings of rooms on the second floor being a little warm. ||||It is an older property, which has older property issues, i.e our toilet didn't like being over used. Just don't run in there and flush it 5 times in a row. Other wise it worked fine. They could look up when cleaning, there were a few times I wanted to break out the old dust brush. There was not a dish washer in our unit. We were charged with being sure the dishes were clean and put away when we left. I can see where this would be concerning since there is no way to sanitize the dishes. I washed them before I used them. ||||Just think of this as a get away to that relatives house, that might not be as clean and tidy as you, but you still have a great time. ||||I do not think that I would like to stay here as a single unit rental, It is very intimate. I would want a care taker on site, I think. However, for a family reunion or an event where you rent the entire location, and that you can put a little time and attention to detail in, on your part this is a great property for that. Everyone is together, they have outdoor cooking options, the tiki bar, the pool. You could really stay on site the whole time, if you wanted to or had older people in your group that didn't want to venture out and just wanted to hang by the pool. ||||We had no problem with management and they seemed to get your deposit back without a hitch. We did our booking and stay during a transition time for the company. We feel they handled it well and will continue to improve the property. ||||Everyone pitched in the last night and cleaned the common area heavily, so that when we left it was better than when we arrived. ||||Like I said, think of it as cousin Joe's place, his wife doesn't clean as good as you, but it is still a great place. ||||Oh... and it is hot in Florida in September. Our family from the north did spend a lot of time in the pool. Winter here would be better!...

Read moreOur stay at Coconut Grove Resort Oasis on North Beach was absolutely amazing! The entire property feels like a private island peaceful, gated, and beautifully maintained. It’s perfect for a private celebration or family getaway because you get the entire resort to yourself, which is such a rare and special experience — and honestly, the price is better than any hotel on the beach!
The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The outdoor area is incredible we loved the sparkling swimming pool, grill and outdoor kitchen, and the tiki bar, which made relaxing with family and friends so much fun. Everything was super clean and thoughtfully set up.
The location is ideal in a quiet part of North Clearwater Beach, just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and all kinds of fun activities like fishing, boat tours, jet skis, and beautiful sunsets that took our breath away.
And the staff? Absolutely wonderful Monika, the property manager, made our stay extra special. She’s welcoming, helpful, and truly cares about every guest having a great experience.
