By the Beach Rentals — Hotel in Clearwater

Where to even begin - I had the vacation of a lifetime at The Tides of Clearwater Beach. Booked on Airbnb, with a gorgeous first floor unit walking out onto the pool deck that extends into the bay, it was like having a fantasy in our backyard. The very first day we got a pod of dolphins in the bay maybe 20 feet from us, that hung around for at least an hour. This resort could not be in a better location. Period. The rooms were meticulously and wonderfully cleaned by Nicole's cleaning, the employees of which felt like family members, and were over the top warm and kind...we felt like we belonged as soon as we had our first run-in with Connie of Nicole's, who thankfully is on the property cleaning for checkouts near-daily, as she can get you anything you need with a smile and keeps the place running smoothly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, as were the pillows, the entire unit really felt like a home. Perfect amount of space for a beach vacation. 2 doors down are jetski rentals by Wet Rentals - if you come to Clearwater, and want to ride jetski, you can not look any further than Dan of Wet, or you're basically wasting your trip. The dude zooms. It was so conveniently located beside of the resort that after a long day of dolphin spotting, island hopping, and killer speed races and wave jumping (the best jet ski tour anyone could ask for) we were right outside of our beautiful home away from home, to go relax out by the bay. Two and a half blocks away, there is a little beach bar, called North Island Bar and Grille, that stays pretty mellow and has THE BEST food in ALL OF CLEARWATER...without discussion. Better than the Clear Sky Cafe, better than anything you can find in the immediate area...the chef in the back has been cooking since he was 11 and it shows. He does not mess around with food. I live in NYC so I am all about food and they served up the best mahi and scallops I have ever eaten. If you stay at The Tides of Clearwater Beach (formerly Ebb Tide Resort) you MUST stop by North Island Bar on your way either to/from the beach! Be sure to dip in the lovely clean pool right outside of your room after sundown to relieve that toasty sun-soaked skin. The bay views never get old. You can catch sunrise over the pool deck and five minutes away hours later catch sunset over the Gulf. The photo of the crystal clear water I've posted is the EXACT entry point of the 5 minute walk to the beach behind North Island Bar. I do have to say, Nicole's Cleaning agreed to lock our belongings in the storage unit so that we could enjoy our last day at the beach after checkout before flying back. I would not be writing this review if not for that simple act of kindness Nicole's observed. Again. I am from NYC. Hotels/Resorts HAVE to offer this. You have to have some place on site for luggage storage, ESPECIALLY offering such a late check in, to show that you actually care AT ALL about your guests. Otherwise you just clearly don't even care. I understand that according to the owners, Nicole's was not supposed to do have done this? This really upset me to learn. This was the largest, most appreciated gesture, and the best thing to come out of this resort for us our entire stay...our trip would've been entirely wasted had we lost our last day to a bad luggage situation, and if there are places like bars/businesses down the road that will hold luggage, why would the resort at which we stayed not offer this...? Nicole's being reprimanded for single handedly the best staple of our guest experience at this resort was upsetting to learn. This really rubbed me the wrong way as far as the ownership of this place goes. We never saw the owners. Only Nicole's. And again, they were family, some of the nicest women we met the...

Appartement et piscine propres. Hôtes très sympathiques et dévoués. Emplacement incroyable à distance de marche de la plage de Clearwater (sable blanc et coucher de soleil à couper le souffle), court de tennis et pickleball (accès gratuit), activités aquatiques, restaurants, bars. Tout est à distance de marche pour favoriser des vacances sans souci.

We had a wonderful week. The apartment is clean with a nice pool and it is very quiet. The hosts are so kind and answer promptly to our requests. The location is at walking distance (3 minutes) from the amazing Clearwater beach with its gorgeous sunset. Also there are tennis and pickleball courses at the street corner where you can play for free. Many restaurants, pubs, bars, aquatic activities are at walking distance. Finally you can even go to the grocery store by walk or with the Jolley Trolly. came across this by accident and could not sit by and not comment on a review posted on this site !! the person that made all the derogatory comments about the owner and the conditions at the Ebb Tide could not possibly have stayed there! I have been staying at the Ebb Tide for 22 years for at least 85 to 90 different times,I have never encountered any problems of any kind . I have found the owners very hospitable and eager to make my stays the best they can! I stay at the motel at different times of the year and go certain time to meet with people every year! They come fromthe UK, Holland, Canada, etc and many of the people I see every year have been coming longer than I have ! If this motel was like Mr. LePage says I don"t think that would be the case! It sound to me like Mr. Lepage had some kind of ulterior motive against the owner but anyone who actually stays at the Ebb Tide knows different! Love...
