Good prices for rentals. BUT if you're wanting to do Stand Up Paddle boarding, just know that the 10' boards weigh about 30 pounds, and even though they have a grip/handle on them, the grips are terrible. They are extremely difficult to carry 0.3 miles all the way to the beach, and then 0.3 miles all the way back to the store when you're done. They will not go pick the boards up for you. I'd recommend going someplace closer, right on the beach. Managers and employees seems to have no idea what they are renting out. Would not let me deflate an inflatable paddleboard to fit into my car, even after I offered to pump it back up to exact pressure requirements on return. Gave me old loose roof straps that I would not trust going past 5 mph. This is after I called ahead and asked if I could deflate and transport the paddleboard, which I was told was OK on the phone. Prices a little high, but you'd expect that from THE SURF SHOP. I was surprised the age of the staff at the counter (probably averaging 50's), but was thrilled by it as I feel older generations understand customer service better (I'm in my mid 30's). The place was clean, bathrooms attended to regularly and very well organized. My only disappointment is the "sex wax" stickers all over the counter area at eye level for children. Glad mine...
